Original Kipper Wahrsagekarten

I was excited to receive the Original Kipper Wahrsagekarten in the mail today.  I have done several posts on these cards already and hope to continue with the deck. Any of you who maintain a blog know it takes a certain commitment to write articles. Sometimes we get carried away with things in our life and often we get dragged into things in other people’s lives.

There are 36 cards with German titles.  The 13 extra cards (content on both sides) in the deck explain each card in German. This would be similar a 26 page LWB. The colors on the images are bright and the cards are about the size of a regular standard deck.  Easy to shuffle. Doing a Reading with this deck is in keeping with a variety of other Sibilla style decks.

I’m looking forward to doing some Readings using the Kipper cards. I am in the midst of sorting out about 60 card/book sets I received as a gift from someone special. My Aussie friend bought an entire vintage collection from a lovely lady who (believe it not) lost interest in Cartomancy. Lucky me.

Not sure what my next article will be about as I have so many card systems I would like to feature.  Also, I am waiting for a Lenormand deck sent from Europe which will blow your socks off.  It is breathtakingly beautiful.

Kipperkarten Long Way

35. LONG WAY

The LONG WAY card suggests an outcome is at a distance. Don’t expect a speedy answer or result involving a situation or person.

You could be waiting a long time for a goal to be fulfilled or a dream realized. There probably won’t be many exciting changes.  Long Way reminds me of the Constancy card in the Zigeuner Wahrsagekarten deck.

Sometimes a long time is good particularly if you are asking a question about longevity.  If someone is sick and this card comes up it would suggest they would be in a similar state for a long time.  That may not sound too good but if there is a progressive disease involved like cancer then I see it in a more positive light.

As far as relationship questions Long Way suggests a long engagement. It can indicate your current relationship will be the same old thing for a number of years without much drama. That in itself shows stability, however, if you are the type of person who needs variety or excitement you could become seriously bored.

On the other hand if you are single you will most likely be inclined to remain single.

The same would apply to work/career questions.  When will you get promoted? It is highly unlikely a promotion is forthcoming for at least 24 months.  Will I change my job?  The same advice applies.  This doesn’t mean you should stop trying especially if there are cards which change the energy of the Long Way card.  The reason for this is because it is a Neutral energy.  The card can be influenced by other more stronger & positive cards.

Long Way can also mean you will receive something from a great distance.  It may have been sent by train or boat instead of  an airplane.

It depends what kind of layout you are using.  If you are doing a full board reading (using all the cards) Long Way might be in a central position.  If it is the last card in the last column then it will definitely be a long wait.

The information below is based on a full board reading using all 36 cards

LEFT: When falling in the past section of a layout or behind the card which represents you (or person getting the Reading) it is evident that a long wait has already been experienced.  Then the Long Way card’s influence becomes a thing of the past or in passing stages.

RIGHT: A period of patience will be needed because the future may not provide you with the opportunities you are seeking unless as I stated before a stronger card follows Long Way.

ABOVE: The energy of the card suggests your thoughts are on a person or situation which is taking way too long.  For example: why isn’t so and so giving me an answer to my invitation.

BELOW: Whatever you are waiting for will only be experienced for a day or two.  You could be expecting a telephone call or email that same day…so you wait for it.  It should happen within 48 hours.

Kipperkarten Living Room card

With so many cards to write about I sometimes forget to upload posts which were already drafted such as with the Kipperkarten deck.

The LIVING ROOM:  You can expect to receive some company. This can be in the form of a dinner party or family gathering.  This card represents a meeting of individuals  in the home.

This card can suggest someone is a homebody and who may not want to socialize much outside of the house.

When near a card such a Prison the meaning can become quite negative.  It could reveal the person is entrapped in a relationship and isn’t allowed much freedom.  Often this occurs when one of the partners is very controlling and jealous.

Usually the ones  involved in this gathering of people are a few close friends or family members.  Most likely there won’t be any strange faces and everyone knows everyone. Perhaps there will be announcement.

All in all the Living Room card promises  a good time.

Kipper -Property Lady

Card No 6 ” property lady”

In the image is a full grown woman holding a rose in her right hand. She looks as though she is pondering something as her left elbow rests on the table. (card in the center)

The traditional suggestion of this card is wise older woman, someone who has lived life. It can represent a female member of the family. She can also be a manager or leader in her field. She too would be attached and married. With certain combinations of the Lenormand Moon #32 there is a link, like with the Queen of Spades, Bouquet #9.

When the No 1 “main male” card is beside her (card on the left side) she could be contemplating an affair. Or maybe it is just his mom.

When the No 2 “main female” card is beside her (card on the right side) it can represent a mother-daughter or even two sisters.

Court Kings

Starting with the Cardinal Houses & Signs. The Kings are the cornerstones of the Astrological wheel.

House 1, Aries, Fire- Wands- King of Clubs-

Sibillas Doctor, The protector, Art deco PHYSICIAN, Lenormand CLOUDS

A man who will protect you, come to your aid, provide the necessary services required and defend you.

He is the decision maker, initiates action, can be a relative to the family that his held in high esteem.

Aries has bursts of energy which dies down quickly, good at delegating and lightning quick comprehension.

In cases of emergencies this type of personality would take charge, such as a doctor, paramedic, fireman, security guard, even a business advisor etc.

House 4, Cancer, Water- Cups- King of Hearts-

Sibillas Good gentleman, The pensioner, Art Deco LORD, Lenormand HOUSE

A loving kind man. A father or father substitute. Interests in land. The protecting husband. He is a property owner. An in-law.

Someone who is mature with experience. He loves good food and to be surrounded by close friends & family members.

As a water sign this man would be highly emotional but would have better control of releasing these feelings.

House 7, Libra, Air- Swords- King of Spades-

Sibillas Clergyman, The lawyer, Art Deco ECCLESIASTIC, Lenormand LILY

The man is of rules & regulations. Factual. Interested in fairness and lives according to a particular dogma or law. Known to hold positions of power as in making decisions that affect your life.

He can be a frightening adversary. He will see both sides of the story and offer the middle ground perspective. Highly demanding in a relationship. A commander.

In situations involving indifference with the capacity to solve issues, this personality is best suited for the role thus contributing to balance & harmony.

House 10, Capricorn, Earth- Pentacles- King of Diamonds-

Sibillas Merchant, the soldier, Art Deco OFFICER, Lenormand FISH

This man is found in the business, work environment. He will nearly always work his way up the ladder in his chosen field. A wheeler & dealer.

He can be anyone- from casino manager, delivery truck driver, hit-man to transport truck driver. He usually does not get involved in situation unless there is a personal gain for him. Will marry into money or career advantages.

This type of personality is grounded and can make executive type decisions. A solid person to deal with and someone that you can depend on.

Suggested keywords- sorrow, sadness, profound worry, pain, emotional suffering.The image of No 32 shows a man deeply distressed because he is thinking about a person or situation. His back is partially bent as he holds his head. What could possibly be so troublesome for this man?The concerns depicted by this card usually involve everyday things that have escalated to the point where an apparent solution is not seen yet. He may have just gotten a telephone call with “bad” news. The man could be worried about money, a health issue or problems with a romantic partner. You can almost feel is emotional pain.Whenever this card falls the neigboring cards will show the area of concern. The situation will resolve itself if the card end the horizontal or vertical line is a positive one. If this is not the case the deep concerns will continue and could lead to a situation where some drastic or constructive steps need to be taken to resolve it.

The #2 female significator#32 is the profound concern, negative outlook#15 is a pleasing situation that is relatively new, usually romance but it doesn’t have to be. It is the beginning of something that make a person feel good.#28 is the card representing anticipation, waiting, expectations requiring silent patience.#35 is the card of distance, off into the future, not right now. There is still more effort needed.When you combine all these cards you can immediately delineate that a situation surrounding the female involves something very dear to her. Her emotions are wrapped up in it and she has a considerable amount of hope because she is very worried if it will turn out.The cards are telling her that time will tell because it is too soon too tell.She is worried about the result and wasting her energy by being absorbed with the outcome. In the meantime she is not able to apply positive energy during the growth process. The process that needs nurturing. The seeds of love grow only when given the correct atmosphere or they will die otherwise.

What I like about the Kipper cards is the fact that there is a work or occupation card. It is very easy to identify and it shows a man working in his garden. This cards represents any kind of work that you do. Usually when we think of work we associate a paycheck with it. When you stop to think about it, doing laundry or shovelling the snow is work. I think the essence of the Work card is as such. When combined with other cards you can determine who is working at what & why. Information will be revealed as to the type of job or occupation or if there is an issue surrounding the place of employment. If you are not working card #34 can be a welcome when it falls in the near future -it shows an opportunity coming your way.The Kipper deck also has it’s share of negative or challenging cards as does the Lenormand, Zigeuner Wahrsagekarten etc. Interestingly there is a coffin/death card #19. When these two cards are in combination it will suggest the obvious- an ending of some sort, It can be the completion of a contract, quitting, getting fired or accepting another position but staying with the same company.When the Work card is beside card #1 or card #2 (representing the person getting the cards read) it will indicate that there is much work ahead. Cards can also be used as adjectives and will describe a person. In this case – a workaholic.Coupled with the Illness card the interpretation could be that the person will hard to work hard to get better “or” and yes there always is an “or”- they are fatigued from being overworked.

Kipper No 1 & No 2 and Lenormand No 28 & No 29

No 1 “main male” is equated to No 28 in Lenormand.
Both of these cards represent the male person getting the reading or your significant other.

No 2 “main female” is the same as No 29.
They are the ladies getting the reading or the significant other.

If you choose No 1 or No 28 and you are a MALE it means that the day will be all about you- self absorption.
If you choose No 1 or No 28 and you are a FEMALE it means that your significant other (boyfriend, lover, husband, fiance etc) will be in close proximity to you and it will be all about him.

If you choose No 2 or No 29 and you are a MALE, it’s all about her (girlfriend, lover, wife, fiance etc)
