Arcanum Tarot by Renata Lechner. 7-card Romany layout reading Part 1/2

I have had my eye on the Arcanum Tarot by Renata Lechner ever since I learned it was available. So, I decided to birthday gift the deck to myself  🙂

When I watched the flip through vid by Angelo Nasios, I was immediately captivated by the cards. This doesn’t happen too often. I was pulled into the imagery in such a way that I knew I had to work with the deck. There were a couple of cards that threw me off but that was not a big deal.

Personally, I prefer very basic imagery. I still use my Rider deck from 1971. I have kept it in amazing condition even throughout the thousands of readings I have done with it. Even my original mini deck which I kept in my purse at all times has seen lots of readings and is still in tact. The card stock quality of those days was exceptional.

There are other flip through vids on YouTube with commentaries but I like Angelo’s because it presented the cards with music. credits: Namaste by Audionautix licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license.

I have included Angelo’s vid so that you can see all the cards.

I decided to feature the 7-card Romany layout using only one card in each position. The image below is the template I created a few years ago. Here is the link to the 2007 instructions using the 3 cards in each column. The 7-card layout has the same meanings for the columns ➡ 21 Romany layout

In the post, Arcanum Tarot by Renata Lechner. 7-card Romany layout reading Part 2/2, I will offer my take on the reading.
