I will use my suggested key words & phrases from the TAB at the top of the head called Zigeuner 1-36

Row #1 Image 2- Sweetheart, Death, Letter, Journey

SWEETHEART – [30. SWEETHEART= If you are a female this card represents you in a reading. The cards surrounding the SWEETHEART will tell you what’s going on currently. If you are a male, then the SWEETHEART is you special lady or girlfriend. If you haven’t got one, she can represent a good female friend or sister.]

Sweetheart is the female of the reading … moi. I had no conscious focus of any question because I wanted the cards to reveal to me whatever they wanted or as the case may be -what my subconscious was asking.

DEATH -[ 4. DEATH= A cycle card. Endings. Saying good-bye. Completion. Time to move on. Forget the past and head off into a different direction.]

No doubt this card is pointing to a major transformation or change that is in the very near future. It could be in attitude as well. In this card is a hint of departure through a parting of ways or a change in lifestyle as well… you know those New Year’s resolutions … There are a number of ways to look at the Death card. The meaning can be modified or intensified once all the other cards are factored.

Since this card is soooo close to the Sweetheart (moi) and falling to the right (future) I think that something is a brewing, something new …. because the Baby card is right underneath.

LETTER -[17. LETTER= A message via any mode of communication. News brings change one way or another.]

It looks like I will be notified about these changes suggested by the Death card pretty darn soon. Is it one of those telephone calls….where you take off like a bat out of hell…? With the Journey card following I anticipate something being announced which may require me to take a trip/visit.

[update March 25, 2008- The Death card's influence hit on Feb 27th and it was one of those telephone calls where your emotions take off like a bat out of hell.   The trip involved was the trip home to get the phone call] 

JOURNEY -[15. JOURNEY= Physical trip. Taking off. Vacation. Emergency situation.]

Lordy, lordy … what the heck is this again. Coupled with Malady, someone’s health or lack of well being will become an issue.

OFFICER -[27. OFFICER= As a person it will be anyone that wears a uniform. News comes from this person that is more formal than personal. If you get involved with this man, he will love you & leave you. A playboy.]

A playboy- I wish, ha-ha. But not at this time, so I will have to use the man in uniform meaning. Is he the one giving me some news? It may not be an actual man because the officer card does represent professional situations as well, ie. work.

[update March 25, 2008- the Officer did represent a work situation and there were many uniforms in this certain place of employment] 

BABY -[2. BABY= New beginnings, start of project or relationship. A baby. Looking after someone that is less fortunate than you are.]

I want to read the Baby card as an Ace, a new … something or other. If I saw the Officer + Baby in a reading for someone else I would interpret that duo as a new love-affair. In my case the Baby card is tied into the Death card somehow. And this can be a good thing because out of endings ..comes a birth.

The Baby + Letter can represent the announcement of a pregnancy.

VISIT -[34. VISIT= The act of receiving guests and being welcomed by others. Usually there is an element of surprise involved. This card can represent an errand.]

Hmmm, interesting. The guests have come and gone. The holiday festivities are coming to a closure with the exception of the New Years Eve celebration. At this point I did not accept any invitations to party and I doubt I will. You know how it is… sometimes you are in the mood & other times you are not.

The Baby + Visit cards strongly suggest a get together, perhaps out of obligation or duty.

MALADY -[21. MALADY= Negative well being. Illness but within the card are also clues to a recovery. Possibility of using sickness as an excuse not to deal with something or someone.]

This is way too obvious. The Journey + Malady cards indicate a person or situation that will need attending. The Malady card is not always an actual illness. It can mean an attitude of precaution.

Looking just at the images surrounding the Sweetheart card, there is no big secret of what the story of the cards is.

There are many other possible meanings for these cards.. the above interpretation is just one way of looking at them.

Hopefully these cards are in the correct positions as requested by “Oana”.

.PAST- Sweetheart- the theme of the question is one of a romantic nature or about a relationship. When the Sweetheart or Lover cards show up it is usually connected to an emotional bond. In the image the Sweetheart is looking at the Lover card (center) but he is looking more at the Thief card..

NOW- Thief- a situation currently involves some misplaced trust. This card joins the Sweetheart & Lover. Could it be that the Lover has attempted to get away with something. It does NOT look serious because the “future” cards are not ones of separation or endings..

CENTER- Lover. This spot is usually reserved for the person getting the reading. It would be either the Lover or Sweetheart..

FUTURE- Widower- The Lover & Widower are back to back and not facing each other. The person represented by the Lover will try to avoid any type of distancing within the relationship if possible. He is thinking about the Sweetheart and about a recent situation that surrounds both of them. He is being realistic and practical in his assessment. The reason I am suggesting this is because the side of his jacket which represents these qualities is not the flamboyant one- fur around the cuff and collar.It is important to study the Lover card to determine which side of his jacket faces what card. It does not matter what meanings you attribute to the cards- it’s all about the understanding of the symbols shown.The Widower is a card about getting things done and putting emotional issues aside for the time being. It is a card of duty and responsibility. The Widower faces to the right of the layout- his message is about the future and because he sits on top of the Gift card this points to the fact that an aspect of the Lover is contemplating an offer of some sort. This offer can be physical gift or it can be the fact that he is realizing that he has something of great value in the Sweetheart..

FUTURE- Gift – as a stand alone card the Gift suggests an exchange. It does represent a present or token of appreciation. The Sweetheart, Lover and connected by the Gift card in the near future. This strongly suggests that there should not be any break ups. It points to the relationship changing and getting a bit more serious (widower).Additional optional suggestions.The Lover is thinking about an older man (widower), perhaps a father or even the fact that there was a loss (thief) in the past connected to this man. The Sweetheart feels uncertain where she stands in all of this because the Lover’s preoccupation of this man (can be an employer as well) is “stealing” the Lover’s focus. Yes something so simple as that.

“What will happen between me and my boyfriend in the future?” Based on the analysis of the cards that were given to me and after studying them I think that the relationship will change & grow. The Widower knows what it means to feel loss. This means that the Lover is an experienced man. He will never come up with an excuse that he can’t go somewhere -he just goes. The Widower is a dutiful friend. He will not ask for your help. It is up to the Sweetheart to continue trusting him even though there is some doubt.This interpretation is done using the cards in the above image positions. If one or more of these cards are placed in an incorrect spot – a good part of this reading will be different.

For example: If the Lover & Thief are to the left of the layout (1st column) and the Sweetheart is in the center- this means that the man represented by the Lover has left the relationship in the recent past. The Sweetheart looks away from the Lover and most likely will not take him back. She is facing the Widower card- she harbors some grief and sadness but not that much because the Widower’s back faces her. If they faced each other her emotional pain would be intense currently and to some degree in the future. Another possibility too is that the Sweetheart will meet an older man (widower) who will appreciate her (gift).

In this case the forecast of the relationship is not promising but the Sweetheart will be happier sooner than she thinks because the very last card is the Gift- indicating a blessing out of adversity.

Sweetheart, Malady, Lover , Death, Judge

A question was posed to me over the telephone today by a female in her mid thirties. Relationships questions seem to be quite popular lately when someone wants a reading.

There might be connection to Venus going retrograde and that means romantic/love relationships are being reviewed or re-assessed by the people involved.

I dug out my vintage cards & used what is known as the Gipsy Wahrsagekarten fortune telling deck. My cards are numbered which is a rarity to find. I like using these versus the “now” colored decks because I feel that the less color the better for psychic expansion. You may feel differently and find that colors stimulate and trigger impressions in you. It depends what your natural ability is and how much you lean on the cards for the answers.

The question: Is my relationship is serious jeopardy?

At first I drew 3 cards. Coincidentally or not and I really don’t believe in coincidences, more like synchronicity- the Sweetheart, Malady & Lover showed up. To me this meant that the young woman’s question was very serious. It was a vital issue in her current life. Pretty darn important!

I felt I needed to draw 2 more cards so that I could offer more information other than what those cards foretold. I told her I’d call her back because I wanted to meditate on the cards a few minutes. When you have such an intense topic, you as a card reader need to be sure you are centered and coming from your highest source by asking your guides to help you out. You are dealing with another human being’s fragile emotional state. Normally, I will not read for anyone that is terribly upset- it affects my ability to read because I am highly sensitive to energy, positive & negative.

My favorite CD to listen to is “Shamanic Dream” by Anugama Track2 -it is one sure fire way to regress into a meditative state instantly. I particularly like this track because in the background you can hear the words “letting go” if you listen carefully.

Anyways back to the example reading.

The Zigeuner Wahrsagekarten DEATH JOURNEY MISFORTUNE WIDOW came to pass in a very short time.

Needless to say it was a totally dramatic turn of events.

An unexpected trip was necessary due to a relationship break up (death journey) + widow (in a broad sense because the female involved was widowed from the relationship)

Misfortune + Widow turns out to be a bizarre situation that endangered an individual for a short time. When you look at the card Misfortune you see the firemen attempting to rescue a woman with child from a burning building.

In the emotionally charged scene of the card you get the sense of urgency. In the actual real life situation there was a sudden emergency that involved a distraught female (widow). It was a nightmare in the fact that the female (widow) not only endured a breakup (death) but also had to flee the situation (journey + misfortune) due to hysterical circumstances (misfortune + widow).

Journey + Misfortune turned out NOT to be an accident but indicated that the person in the vehicle had to travel quickly to get away from a domestic dispute. The accident part would be the emotional collision of two people.

The original analysis of these cards in the last post was pretty darn close and freakishly correct.

Zigeuner combos

Using the Zigeuner Wahrsagekarten the follows cards showed up in the last column of the full board of 36 cards for a family member.
DEATH, JOURNEY, MISFORTUNE, WIDOW

At first glance, these cards look rather eerie and are to the point.
ending, travel, catastrophe, profound sadness or an older female.
conclusion, on the way, unfortunate situation, involving female.

JOURNEY + MISFORTUNE = a significant warning during travel, possible serious mishap, precaution is suggested

DEATH + JOURNEY = a trip is necessary due to a situation or news that involved some trouble

MISFORTUNE + WIDOW = whatever will occur will affect a female who is more than likely without a partner, a loner. In some cases WIDOW represent a mother, or other female – friend/member of family

A message or circumstance is seen with these combinations that point to a chaotic time. Knowing this combinations has fallen in this manner, you have to wonder about the state of mind of the person getting the cards read. Is this a reflection of some “fear” that has been projected through the cards.

Or is this actually one of those “destiny” situations that cannot be altered. It is of the utmost importance not to alarm the person being read because of the fact of telling this individual who perhaps can be easily swayed (personality weakness)- will only upset them. Handling such cards delicately is certainly possible.

There are other meanings to these cards, besides the doom and gloom which is actually a trade mark of fortune tellers of yesteryear.

Another way to read DEATH, JOURNEY, MISFORTUNE, WIDOW is as follows.

Necessary travel plans involve a female.
You come to the assistance of a woman in distress.
You see a collision on your way to the mall.

If DEATH is an ending and JOURNEY represents travel/trip, then the vehicle might be in danger (MISFORTUNE) like it won’t start, and there is no one around to help you.
Within the DEATH card is always the possibility of a solution, an alternate route or change that has come out of that ending. As a precaution if you see these cards and know you are going to travel (even if it is just to the other side of town) always store some booster cables and a small air compressor in your trunk.
