Great news for most of us Pisces – the planets will be in better aspects in the months to come.
One of my favorite astrologers is Terence Guardino. Even though I have extensive astrological background I still listen to his video forecasts each month to follow his special brand of interpretation involving the planetary transits.

Terence provides great articles on Astrology and the trends to come. I enjoy his down to earth approach to astrology and think you will have no problem understanding your transits by listening to his videos.
Those of you who share a Pisces (opposite) or Virgo birthday may have experienced a blah 2008. This is partly due to the Saturn in Virgo transit.
For the Pisces Sun sign people a great relief will come in the spring – summer of 2009 because the opposition will separate.
Depending on the day of your birthday some of you may have experienced a lighter energy around you already. Oppositions of the Sun are tough especially when Saturn is involved. The full vitality of the Sun’s energy is curbed and limited. On top of that oppositions require a trade off and there is no merging or collaboration possible. It’s one way or another, a type of giving up one thing to get another.
The same applies to the Sun conjunct Saturn aspect. I think this transit is probably a bit more difficult because Saturn is the monkey on the Sun’s back. Many of you who celebrate a Virgo birthday have noticed almost a wet blanket feeling over your emotions and situations this year.
As I mentioned in a preceding paragraph, generally speaking the Virgo -Pisces opposition will be over in about 6 months. I say generally because some of you will still be experiencing it over the summer months. Check your chart to see the Pisces sun degree at the time of your birth. Allow 8 degrees for the orb either way -this is the traditional measurement for the opposition.
Saturn will enter Libra on October 30, 2009 and will begin chaos in Aries/Libra for about 2.5 years. If you are neither Libra or Aries Sun Sign by birth, those areas rules by these 2 signs will come under scrutiny. If you have a stellium of difficult natal aspects then you can prepare for Saturn’s trigger. Something will happen. Study any house which has a natal opposition because it will be intensified.
I have lived through one such stellium trigger and have a general idea of what might occur. It will not be identical because I am that much older. The transit was so powerful that my life direction resulted in a 360. Coincidently or not, this timeframe is also confirmed in my broken life line on my palm.
It is believed our charts are a continuation of a previous life. If you take the 12th house to be the first, then the 10th becomes the 4th. A lot can be learned by reading the chart in reverse. If you see Saturn heading into one of the karmic houses you will have a chance to learn your lesson in this lifetime. If you don’t, it will most likely be repeated the next time around. This is not easily proven. Memories of prior lifetimes can be recalled and if this is the case then post lifetimes can be predicted as well.
I should mention that the House in which Pisces and/or Virgo rule will be the areas which are affected. This will be different for all people.
Of course all the other transits going on in your astrological chart must be factored in too. Much depends on your natal chart as well. For example, if you have a strong Jupiter and have experienced abundance throughout your life when this planets triggers off other favorable planets you will have much more abundance. But if your natal Jupiter is in a challenging position the transit will not bring great abundance more like minimal.
Now if you are about to experience your 1st or 2nd Saturn return while the transit is in Virgo or Saturn – your life will change accordingly. Many of the baby boomers will be experiencing the 2nd Saturn return.

The voice sounds computer generated & speaks rapidly, but nevertheless, you will learn a whole bunch or get a refresher of what you think you know. I like using cards in the Astrological wheel layout. Not only are you reading the cards but you are also reading the cards in the houses which have their own unique representations.

One of my favorite layouts is the Astrology wheel. You don’t need to be a professional Astrologer to benefit from it’s use. In fact, we are not going to read the positions of the planets, but the cards that fall into each section. You can derive at quite a bit of information even if you know just the basics of each HOUSE* (the 12 numbers around the inner circle).
If you are not accustom to this layout, start out only using 12 cards and place the 13th in the middle. You can place fans of 3 or 4 cards in each section if you feel comfortable in blending the meanings. It is not much different than reading 3-4 Lenormand cards or even the Tarot.
I think a couple of cards in each spot is ideal for the beginner who has some knowledge of the cards (whatever deck you are working with). Once you learn a few keywords for the Houses* you can begin to do a reading.
The description of the Houses* will be very simple so they are easier to learn. Keep in mind one House contains a vast amount of information when you study them in-depth. I have changed some of the traditional associations so that the reading becomes more uniform. There are examples using the Lenormand style card in the Simple Astrology wheel layout are described for a self-reading.

Horary astrology and the reading of cards is identical. The reason for this is because once the cards are placed in a layout they are similar to the casting of the planets. It’s like taking a camera and photographing the planets or the cards - the themes/answers are captured at that precise moment.
Take notice the next time when you shuffle your cards – your subconscious will guide you when to pick the cards for the layout, just like when you set up a Horary chart and record the exact positions of the planets
This is one of the reasons Richmond Olney (astrologer), famed for the Mystic Test Book was fanatical that the cards were cut at 10 second intervals on an even minute etc. I have studied “original” Olney’s system for decades and it never ceases to amaze me at some of the hit’s of this system. Thomas Morrell simplifies & enhances Olney’s work. He has authored a number of superb books. It is my understanding Robert Camp went on to write a number of books and created software which is based on Olney’s system.
I believe Camp and Morrell were pioneers in the continuation of Olney’s work. Of course, each author brought unique blends of insights into their own systems.

My first concern for Joe began when I found out the rescheduled date of the open heart surgery was Nov 29th and not the 27th as planned. The Moon was in Leo on the 29th. The moon was in the sign that ruled the heart and the blood flow. If the moon affects the ebb and flow of water on this earth and we are part of it, we too are affected to some degree since we are about 90% water. The blood is made up of plasma which is 95% water and three types of blood cells, red, white and platelets.
Joe was released from the hospital, a mere six days after open heart surgery- Dec 4th and on Dec 6th, 30 hours later suffered a stroke. The blood clot developed from the operation, this was confirmed by the surgeon’s team.
I always check the position of the moon when surgery is scheduled to see what sign it is transiting. I know of enough cases that ran into complications to make me pay more close attention to this. Is it a coincidence?
Statistics have shown that operations tend to be more successful when the moon is increasing in light and the recovery process is quicker. When the moon is full the fluids in the body are higher and this means the blood. Was the moon full on Nov 29th, not totally but almost?
Example: On May 17th 1992 the moon was transiting Sagittarius which rules the thigh. My son underwent surgery on that day due to a broken femur (thigh bone) from a roller blading accident. He ended up getting a blood clot in his leg from the surgery which was confirmed by the surgeon. He was re-admitted to the hospital the same day he was released and was under observation for 3 weeks while receiving blood thinners.
