The Tarot FOOL – Part 2/2

The FOOL card continues it’s journey bringing some influences of the planet Uranus to the designated Houses around the Astrological Wheel. Uranus disrupts but also adds excitement.

11fool.jpg
The image shown belongs to the Tarot of the New Vision deck & is displayed for the purpose of understanding some of the suggested meanings.

HOUSE 7 - relationships, partnerships, marriage. The FOOL in this spot indicates that the partner whether the relationship is legalized or not will certainly be highly creative and independent. It would be hard to pin this person down and the attitude would lean towards little emotional commitment. Many times there is a legal situation that would involve a high risk and most likely not be favorable.
HOUSE 8 – sex, inheritance, endings. There is a strong indication that additional monies will be forthcoming, mainly from the partner (s) or those who are in a position to give or lend. Sexual appetites are not ho-hum and there is a lust for adventure and experimentation. All things that end will be sudden and unexpected.
HOUSE 9 – long distant travel, higher education, philosophy. An interest in air travel either as a passenger or pilot. When this card represents foreign lands in relation to long distance travel the suggestion is globe trotting – just for the thrill of it. Old cultures would be a curiosity that can be a topic of study through workshops or lectures.
HOUSE 10 - career, reputation, ambitions. The person getting the reading done will not go unnoticed. They can achieve public acclaim but not necessarily for all the good that they do, more like what they didn’t do. This house also represents one of the parents (the one that was ambitious in their career). This parent probably was not able to establish a close bond because they were too busy. Issues with the mother are shown -she could be very eccentric.
HOUSE 11 – community, hopes, friendships. Unusual and exotic types of friendship surround this person. They belong to clubs or organization with a specific cause leaning towards the new age movement. Humanitarian issues are important and there will be involvements with people that aren’t the “norm” of society. The hopes and wishes would be futuristic. Strong spiritual bonds with friends.
HOUSE 12 – large institutions, subconscious, past life. The person would be employed in one of several large organizations such as schools, hospitals, military, corrections centers etc. Alcohol and drugs should be avoided or used in moderation because of the high susceptibility to energy from other realms. Whatever the chosen field of career choice is, will indicated the uncompleted lessons of the previous life before this incarnation. The person would have a fear of heights as this house rules phobias as well.

The Tarot FOOL – Part 1/2

One of my favorite layouts to use is the Astrological Wheel. I think this spread gives you detailed information that covers area specifics about the dynamics of everyday life. You can use any deck of cards with this layout. The Tarot would provide an extensive reading in these specific areas.

I thought today I would concentrate on Key 0 The FOOL [planet association - Uranus] around the Astrological Wheel to share insights of what this card can mean in the 12 Houses. I am offering some suggestions but it is certainly not limited to what I have written.

The analysis will be in the present tense- stand alone reading which can be done as well. If you want to do a detailed reading it is better to use 3 cards in each House. The 1st is the past, the 2nd is the present and the 3rd the likely future outcome. In this case, you should allow yourself at least 1.5 hours because an enormous amount of information will be synthesized and it will be very helpful to the person getting the cards done.

HOUSE 1- outer personality, the body. The person you are reading will be in an unusual state of mind at the time of the reading. Maybe they have just colored their hair green – hey it happens. They can be going through a risky situation where there is insufficient planning. Freedom and independence could be an issue. Sometimes, there is a lack of responsible attitude which is preventing the person from having a mature approach to a problem or situation.
HOUSE 2- assets and values usually financial in nature. The spending habits are wasteful. The person may not want to accept the responsibilities associated with earning money. There is a very good chance that the income level is fluctuating and there is little security. Control is needed and a budget. Often there is a desire to purchase electrical items – Uranus rules electronics and mechanical items.
HOUSE 3 – the mind, siblings, short trips. This house is loaded with meanings. It takes a longer to figure out how and where the FOOL’s influence will take place. Travel would be on the spur of the moment. Expect the unexpected with relationships with brothers, sisters and even people in the neighborhood. Uranus gives a restless mind that works at a face pace. This person would have futuristic ideas.
HOUSE 4 - home environment, parents. Conditions in the home could be odd or eccentric. The furniture might be very old or completely modern. There is much going on and it is a busy place. People coming and going all the time. Unsettled conditions are shown for one of the parents – being away or having to go away. There could be issues with electrical items or equipment pertaining to the home.
HOUSE 5 – love, creativity, chance. This person would have a hard time settling down in a relationship because they need variety. The attitude would be unconventional in love matters. The level of creativity is high and hobbies could be quite bizarre or ahead of the times. An unplanned pregnancy could happen as well. In matters of luck there would be loss due to the high risk involved.
HOUSE 6 – everyday work, well being, small animals. An strange little animal could become a pet. The person well being is out of whack due to their inconsistent eating habits. There would be an appetite for junk food and foods that would appear to be uncommon. Work would be connected to computers or working with data, and numbers. Being so independent, jobs in the travel industry might be a consideration currently . This person keeps their emotional distant with the co-workers.

DESIRE card

SUGGESTIONS
Awaiting, anticipation, longing, recovery, being alone, retreating, preoccupation, anxiety, craving, searching for an answer, dissatisfied, immobilized, yearning, Astrology, lack of interest, emotionally needy, day dreaming, making a wish, contemplation, low self-image, asking for Universal guidance

The Zigeuner DESIRE card
- shows the back view of a woman looking out a window while holding back the drapes.

The Biedermeier DESIRE card
- depicts a woman sitting by a desk gazing out a window. She looks desperately hopeful.

The Art Deco ARDENT DESIRE card
- shows a woman lying in bed fully clothed propped up by a pillow. On her nightstand is a mirror and some flowers.

ABOUT THE CARD
The card shows a female looking out a window. In the sky is a star. In her hand she holds a rose.
When the DESIRE card comes up in a layout it will emphasize what is being wished for. It is the wish card. On it’s own it is neutral. Not all wishes are positive and not all people wishing are positive.

As with all the cards the symbolism is within the image. To wish is to have a strong feeling or want of something or someone. It can be a precursor to jealousy. The essence of the DESIRE card is the feeling you get when you visualize yourself in a peaceful environment when in actuality you live in constant noise from overbearing personalities in your home. What you wish for is missing in your life. Wishing is negative when you want someone or something out of spite or ill feelings-
it can become obsessive & a preoccupation .
It becomes an unhealthy motive to wish upon a star.

FIDELITY card

3fidelity.jpg

1littlesam.jpegABOUT THE CARD

The FIDELITY card brings positive energy to the adjoining cards. It strengthens the weaker cards and can soften the more negative ones. This card adds devotion to a situation. It describes a person that you can count on. The essence is the same as your loving pet, especially the dog who is waiting for you when you come home. Devotion is allegiance to a person or cause.

Daily guidance card

Today you will be asked to help out a friend or close associate. At the very last minute an acquaintance manages to assist you with your problem. You need to get another person’s perspective on a situation that you are thinking about today. Don’t give up on getting that phone call or message – it will come.

Is it time for your pet to go to the Vet’s? Small animals could be involved in you daily activities. A neighbor might ask you to look in on their cat or dog because they are going away for a few days.

Fidelity is a very positive card and suggests that you do not give up on any goals or plans that you have.

With the Thief Card- NEGATIVE - unfaithfulness, betrayals, loss of a trusting friend, not being able to count on anyone. Think twice about doling out your trust when around people who appear too friendly.

Death card

I thought I’d sneak in a post that I had prepared a few days ago while I have a bit of free time to blog.

The suggested meanings apply to the ART DECO, BIEDERMEIR and ZIGEUNER decks specifically but can be adapted to any one of the SIBILLA cards.

death_19.jpgartdecodeath.jpgdeath.jpg

SUGGESTIONS

Being despondent, an ending, saying good-bye, finalization, letting go, a separation, it’s finished, charging your batteries, waiting for results, fear of the unknown, throw out the old shoes, your contract is up, harvest, time for renewals, exfoliation, replacing the engine in your vehicles, inner house cleansing, loss of loved one, fright, permanently, removal, time has run out, the answer is NO

The Zigeuner DEATH card
- has the image of a skeleton in a white sheet. In it’s left phalanges it is holding an egg timer.

The Beidermeier DEATH card
- has a skeleton with a white flowing sheet holding a scythe in its left bony hand.

The Art Deco DEATH card
-depicts a skeleton cloaked in a white sheet holding a scythe in its left hand. It emerges behind a coffin with a wooden plaque.

ABOUT THE CARD

When the Death card shows up in the layout it brings closure and an ending to a situation. There will be a finalization around the person in the neighboring cards. It can be the end of a relationship, a job, a dream, a plan, a goal, and even a problem or worry etc.
Things HAVE to END so that new cycles begin. Endings happen all the time. Things do not go on and on forever. An aspect or part of a situation always ends even though the totality of the situation remains the same, thus new beginnings.
This card will prevent further advancement of whatever is depicted by the card which precedes it because one of it’s meanings has been terminated.
In other words – TIME IS RUNNING OUT. Expect a change in plans or direction.
Expect a turbulent time with lots of changes. But it will be good for you as it expands your horizons. The change can relate to persons or places. Your relations can get deeper (move together, marriage). You meet new people; at your job you can get more responsibilities or change to another company. Maybe you move to another town. If your present situation is bad it will improve soon and everything will turn out to your advantage.

DAILY GUIDANCE CARD
It looks like today you just might clean out that closet and throw out what you don’t need anymore. You could be saying good-bye to someone who is moving away or has left your workplace. The answer is will NOT be forthcoming and if it does come it will most likely be a NO. A good day to go to a spa and get a facial. Getting rid of the dead skins cells on your face helps to promote new growth that is fresher.
The legal papers arrive in the mail. It’s time to renew your insurance policy. Hearing the news of a death. Going separate ways. Your cat or dog has run away.
A situation presents itself today that will put the finishes touches where they belong. Construction in your home is finally done. The blocked off street has re-opened.
A current situation is having closure. It could be a relationship you are in. Sigh, it’s finally over –time to heal and move on. All things end, let’s face it. Getting rid of the dead skins cells on your face helps to promote new growth that is fresher. Ask yourself what situation or person is in the process of leaving your life?

Your Chi is stagnating and it needs to get some healthy movement. And only you can do that, it is your life-force. So breathe it in and breathe it out! Pinch yourself to see how it feels to be alive.

The card “Anger”

Anger

SUGGESTIONS
An argument, yelling, being annoyed, frustrating situation, unorganized meeting, getting told off, someone is in a bad mood, receiving punishment, competition, emotional outburst, stubbing your toe, the picnic is cancelled, being pushed around, revved up, mind your tongue, verbal fireworks, seeing red, heated discussion, energetic

The Zigeuner ANGER card
- an image of a young lad getting scolded by an older gentleman who is wearing an apron. It looks like the lad is being told to get out of the room into the darkness by the doorway.
biedermeiranger.jpgThe Biedermeir ANGER card
-has a scene of a young boy getting his ear pulled by an older man. There is a knocked over chair on the floor of the room.
The Art Deco ANGER card
-portrays a waitress coming through a doorway with a pile of dishes in her hands. A few plates have fallen and one has been broken by her right foot.

ABOUT THE CARD
Indicates mental confusion. Heated words. Impulsive or aggressive response. Flying off the handle. Provocation.

When the Anger card appears in a layout it signifies a profound negative emotional reaction around the person or situation card depicted near it. If you can remember a time when you were really angry about something, the essence of that anger is contained within this card. Pay attention to the surrounding cards to pinpoint what is the cause of this unpleasant response. At times, people have this reaction because they are functioning from fear and think they having no control.

DAILY GUIDANCE CARD
Something will happen today to tick you off. Anger is a great motivator when you get to the point where you need that emotional fuel to get something done. It doesn’t always have to be a bad thing that is traced with venom. For the most part it will be reaction to what a person has said or done that is not in compliance to what you would have done.
Today you could find yourself at the receiving end of some cross words from another individual. Maybe you deserve it and maybe you don’t. The other person is revved up and you happen to be there.
It is a good idea not to get behind the wheel if you are in an enraged state because your mood can escalate if the person in front of you is driving too slow or cuts you off. Count to 10 during the course of the day and evening if you feel anger welling up inside of you. It’ll blow over quicker.
If you are prone to having a short fuse anyways stay away from difficult people. There could be an outing to a sports event where there will be lots of screaming and yelling, like a baseball, soccer, hockey game. This would be a great emotional outlet.

AROUND THE ASTROLOGICAL WHEEL layout

1. Personality card, Current situation
The ANGER card will tell you that the person getting the reading is in a mood that can change suddenly. They are wired for some reason and slightest thing will set them off. For one reason or another their emotional state is in an upheaval. Did they just argue with someone? Cross currents in the present circumstances.
On edge for sure. Something or someone has provoked you to the point that you have these unhealthy emotions. You may have been on the receiving end of someone else’s wrath. Who is the hot head?

2. In money matters
A dispute or argument over money. There isn’t enough to spend on frivolous items. The additional money you were counting on is delayed and this infuriates you. You get overcharged on a purchase and get into a yelling match.
Breaking or busting a valuable item.

3. Communications, Transportation, Siblings
Any type of conversations you have will be in a combative style. There will be no reaching an agreement without a fight. Your brother or sister gets mad at you for something you said. There could be problems in your neighborhood with noisy neighbors.
Be nice to the policeman that stops you for running a red light and bite your tongue.

4. In matters of the family & home
The domestic scene will be strained. People are generally high strung and get on each other’s nerves. Familiarity breeds contempt. Go out for a walk to cool off. Bumping heads on an issue involving your home, children or parents. An agreement won’t be reached until everyone calms down. An unwanted guest comes over.

5. In matters of love & luck & creativity
It’ll be a hot affair with intense feelings. Wild times in the bedroom. If you are a screamer at least shut the windows. Sexual tension but in a good way. Best not to gamble because you will blow a fuse when you keep losing.
You become passionate over a creative project. Now is the time to channel the TEMPER energy into a creation of any kind.

Time to get the blood pressure checked especially if you have been upset lately.

If you are married it would be a good idea to just nod your head without speaking if possible. Your partner has come home fit to be tied. The storm will pass eventually, but it will pass.
In business relationships there will be major conflicts of interests not easily solved. Negotiations will be difficult.
If you are single, you will stay single until you learn to control your temper. No one likes a walking volcano.

8. Endings
The parting is not amicable. Things will end with nasty language. Telling a person you never want to speak to them again is not the way to inform them that you feel hurt and wish they had not done what they did. Walking out during an argument with the intention of not coming back.

9. Travel, Education
You missed the deadline on the ticket sales. You arrive at the airport late. Your trip is cancelled and you are off work on a scheduled holiday. Using the energy of the Temper card to do physical activities such as climbing mountains and going hiking through the trails.

10. 3-months Future Situation, Achievements
With a lot of hard work, drive and aggressive talk you will succeed. Using your energy to accomplish the unthinkable. Having the passion to start a new career. Important not to quit pursuing your objectives.

The next three months will be filled with all kinds of restless energy. You will have many projects on the go. You will feel frustrated because you can’t finish everything you started, even though a majority of what you set out to do will be accomplished. Dealing with an irate person. Getting a verbal black-lash.

11. Friendships, Community
A close acquaintance does not see eye to eye with you on a matter and this displeases you very much. A community function that starts good turns into a battle of wits.
A humanitarian cause touches you emotionally.

The kundalini energy has been activated. Hopefully you know how to handle it? Be careful or you will get burned or burned out. A profound interest in the history of Christianity.

The final post of 2007- I wish everyone the greatest success in 2008 and most of all LOVE.

Astro House Associations of the Mystical Lenormand -house 11,12

House 11- Dog #18

House 12- Cross #36

10-11-12-myst.jpg

click here to VIEW the complete 36 cards

HOUSE 11 comes under the ruler-ship of Aquarius. The associations of this house are connected to friendships, community, hopes & dreams. Situations are more impersonal and involve group activities.

The image shows a friendly looking dog sitting in front of a fireplace exuding with bright flames. A symbol of warmth. You can almost see the dancing fire spirits. There is a crystal ball or orb placed on the rug. Circles symbolize continuity. On the mantle you can see a crystal pyramid and 2 Egyptian Goddesses support the fireplace. The dog’s red collar is filled with gems. Connections with past or ancient groups are evident in the card.

The suggested meanings for the Dog card are friendship. A dog protects the home and it’s occupants. This card is usually seen as positive indicating trust and loyalty. The connections to the 11th house are appropriate. When you wish or have a dream to accomplish a goal- you must be faithful to your vision.

In a reading the Mystical Dog card brings with it the suggestion that a group effort may be necessary to ensure continuity. It also hints at relationships of the past.

HOUSE 12 is associated with Pisces- the sign of suffering & sacrifice, or so legend has it. The 12th house is connected to the subconscious mind. It is the hard drive holding the memories of your past. Pisces is all about Universal love. The highest expression of love- unconditional acceptance, the willingness to help those less fortunate, to give without ever expecting to get something in return. Other associations of this house are hospitals, larger institutions such as jails, libraries, universities, churches , convents, monasteries, but not limited to just those. Solitude. Some Astrologers link the limitations of Karma to this house. Self-imprisonment- as depicted by the 8 of swords in the Tarot.

The image of the Cross card is almost eerie. There is a lot of gray- symbolizing wisdom. There is a scene of a cemetery with magnificent stone statues, especially the large one right in the middle of the card. On the right side of the card you can see part of a structure built with bricks. On the side of the archway about half way up you can see a sad face (on both sides). The spiraling question mark beneath the man with the beard carved into the center cross suggests the unknown. You can see many other symbols within this card that will mean different things to everyone. The black birds welcome the soul’s return.

The traditional meanings of the Cross card has long been linked to grief, sadness, pain & suffering. It is believed we all have our own cross to bear- our fate (if you have that belief system). This card is all about how you withstand life’s little and big tests. When I read the Cross card it tells me a situation has completed or cannot move forward anymore. It suggests holding on to emotional “baggage” and not seeing beyond that.

Anytime another card is coupled with the Cross card the result is usually unhappiness in the outcome. It will hint at a point of no return, whereas with the Coffin card-new beginnings are possible.

Comment from Amanda

To interpret a Natal chart is a lengthy process especially when the information offered is assimilated by a person and is not a computer generated printout.

The data given by Amanda that is listed in the comments section has been categorized to place the planets in the houses for easier associations within this post.

What I have done is cast an Astrological wheel and wrote in the data for a better visual. My general interpretation is in red and will be brief & to the point . The complimentary delineation below is for study purposes only and is written to provide entertaining & educational information to the readers so that it is in keeping with the theme of the *Ask my Cards* blog.

The delineation is derived from traditional associations of house, sign & planet. The aspects have not been covered. Aspects can modify the delineation by empowering the combination either negatively or positively.

Astro House Associations of the Mystical Lenormand -house 10

In conclusion of the first 12 cards in the Mystical Lenormand deck that correspond to the Houses 1-12, are the final three cards are the Garden #20, Dog #18 and Cross #36.

There are 12 other cards with the planetary glyphs on them and another 12 with the astrological glyphs. For example, the 3 cards that are linked by associations to the Rising House #1 are as follows:

House 1- Bear #15. Aries- Stork #17. Mars- Gentleman #28. Look at these three cards to see if you can see the relationships between them.

House 10- the GARDEN #20 10-11-12-myst.jpg

House 11 – the DOG #18

House 12- the CROSS #36

House 10 - house of your reputation, ambitions, goals, social standing, a parent, career, achievements….

Card #20 has a captivating images of a park like setting. In the center is a round pond. At the front of the card we have 2 lion-dogs ( feng shui fu dogs) guarding the path into the garden. The female is always on the left and the male on the right to ensure protection. One of the meanings of the Park card is reputation and our position in society.

The background is filled with lots of activity in front of the gazebo. There is an exotic feel to this card. See how many symbols you can find.

The suggested meanings for the Garden cards are positive and promising even though it is an 8 of spades. Creativity is the key element within this card. Social functions, celebrations and get-togethers. Being given that pat on the back.

When describing a person this card represents a friendly, highly artistic, possibly temperamental individual, artist or musician.

Other things that come under the rulership of the Park card can be large organizations where the public meets- conventions, conferences, restaurants, bars, dance club, casinos, art gallery, baseball game etc.

The tie into the 10th house is perfect because of the focus on social standing. Rewards & recognition.

Coupled with the Book card #26, success in publishing or public acclaim for artistic achievements. A writer, journalist, reporter, even court house stenographer.

House 11 coming up……….after completing another little project I’m involved with.

House 9- the SHIP #3

House 8 – the COFFIN #8

House 7 – the HEART # 7

House 7- house of your partner, significant other, marriage, relationships, close personal relationships with others, bonds, legal affairs, contracts and agreements- business.

In the image we see a large red heart surrounded by burning yellowish flames. There are 2 green pears at the bottom right of the card. A man & woman stand in their birthday suits (private parts covered) under the bulging red heart. The animals in the scene however are not in pairs but an interesting assortment. Two trees on each side of the card. The naked blond woman holds something in her hand. Is she giving it to the man or did he give it to her. Is it the apple from the Garden of Eden story? In Asian symbolism, one pear is never shared between two lovers- it represents separation. Luckily there are 2 , one for each of them. Did you know that a pear tree only produces pears every two years? Could this card suggest 2-4 years?

The suggested meanings for the HEART card are closely tied into the 7th house associations with regards to relationships based on love or business connections. Traditionally this card represent the love department, emotional bonding with another.

When the Heart card is found in another house if you are doing an Astrological wheel layout, that means Venus is adding her influence. Venus rules the 7th house of Libra. For example, when found in house 6, you could find a job you absolutely love or meet a person through your job that you end of having a relationship with.

The Heart card promises harmony within a union, unless disturbed by cards such as the Scythe, Coffin, Snake to name a few.

Astro House Associations of the Mystical Lenormand -houses 4,5,6

I will continue with an explanation for the next 3 Houses in the Astrological wheel layout using Mystical Lenormand.

TO VIEW all 36 cards of the Mystical Lenormand CLICK HERE

456.jpg

House 4- House 4 House 5- Child 13 House 6- Anchor 35

House 4 represents family matters and the prominent parent, either the mother or father. Traditionally it is the mother because the Moon rules Cancer. It it your home, the place where you live- a farm, in the city, in a trailer, in a condo, house or castle. Real estate. 4th house depicts the “end of a matter or situation as well”.

The HOUSE #4 card, illustrated above shows a friendly looking house with a peacock on the lawn. There is a vase on the lower left side of the card. A vase holds things as does the house- it holds the family. There are 3 paths leading to the house. This gives the feeling of being welcome from any direction. The landscape is in full bloom. The peacock will hint at pride or showing off – comparable to the Art Deco Pride

The meanings of the house card are not that much different. In other Lenormand decks, the King of Cups is situated in the background suggesting the father or other male member – who is the head of the family. Seeing the House card in a reading brings a warm and safe feeling. Cards surrounding it will indicate the state of circumstances around the place you call your home. You can have a beautiful house esthetically but is it homey.

When this card shows up elsewhere in a layout it will bring with it the connections of the 4th house to some degree.

House 5 represents the creative energy. Hobbies, children, love, sports, games of chance-entertainment, art and luck. If you have a natal chart with Jupiter situated in house 5, your will have much happiness through your children, have above average creativity and a passion for sports or gambling. I think seduction fits in here as well.

The CHILD #13 is associated with matters of House 5. The obvious would be the representation of child or children. In the image, the little girl is playing on her swing. Sometimes when you get involved in your hobbies you do play in the arena of your imagination. There is an elf sitting on the ledge on the lower right hand of the card eating a strawberry. The strawberry is a symbolism of sensuality in the purest sense. Notice the little girls shoes at how curled up they are. The Fool in many of the Tarot decks has similar footwear & a little dog.

The Mystical Lenormand Child card reminds me of the 6 of cups in the Tarot and it’s connections to the past- of younger years, memories of the childhood. The Astrological sign associated with 5th house is Leo. Leo’s love to play like little children and are filled with a dramatic flair.

The suggested meanings of the Child card are all things that are in a state of development. Usually it is a fun energy. When you create a project or start a new job you are experiencing this card. The formative stage with further development depicted by adjoining cards. There is an unspoken magic within the Child card, the little girl and elf know something that you do not- it’s a secret. Not knowing where a fresh idea will take you, is the secret shared by these two.

House 6 represent work, well being (minor health situations) as well as small pets thus charity. The Virgo sign is one of exacting detail having a need for stable routine. Many people in the fields or work associated to medicine (nurses, doctors, pharmacists, drug store managers etc) will have a strong Virgo aspect.

The ANCHOR #35 is linked to house 6. In the image the anchor leans on a solid rock. The chain is not tied to anything and lies on the sand. (ground -earth). Virgo is an earth sign- practicality. If the wind where to come along the anchor would stay on the ground but the chain may rattle somewhat. This shows the adaptability of house 6, it is not fixed or rigid and neither are Virgos.

One of the suggested meanings of the pelican is charity. This card is loaded with visual clues to some of the meanings of it. In the broadest sense, when you work at your job you give away your personal free time in exchange for a paycheck. Some people are luckier than others- they love their jobs and there is really no sacrifice. In Christian symbolism the pelican was suppose to wound itself to feed it’s young. You’ve heard the expression, “my job sucks the blood right out of me”.

The meanings of the Anchor card are associated to work. You can see the link to the 6th house. It is a card that will provide security, rooting and stability. In the secondary more negative meanings, you can stick to something or someone for too long and eventually it will affect your health. Sometimes the Anchor will point to a health problem when it falls with other cards depicting well being issues. It can represent a spot or growth- but health analysis is not recommended in readings for people that you do not know well.

The Anchor card provides positive stabilizing energy to adjoining cards. One should remember though it can also be a small obstacle like the Mountain #21 card- many rocks as shown in card #35 will make the mountain.

Like I said before in other posts, you will find your own style of reading cards and at your own pace. The Lenormand cards all have traditional associations. Study the beautiful symbolism within the Mystical Lenormand – your own perception is important. For example, the elf or pelican might mean something entirely different to you.

Not shown- Another 12 cards that represent the Astrological signs and the remaining 12 cards depict the planetary ruler of the Signs & Houses. A wealth of information is contained within these glyphs over and above the suggested meanings for each house.

If you take out the following cards and place them in a circular pattern as above (more like horizontal oval) you can become acquainted with their associations in the Astrological wheel.

I will give you examples from Houses 1, 2, 3 for now.

House 1 – The Bear 15

House of the self, personality, the face that you present to the public, your physical constitution, your body.

The image of a brown bear trying to get some honey from the beehive attached to the tree. Did you notice the insect/rather a bug, on the bottom right of the card.

The suggested meanings of BEAR is power, force & strength. The father or male ruler of the family is depicted by this card as well. Within this card are secondary negative keywords such as emergency, abuse, fear, superiority and intimidation. I’ve had certain people disagree with me on the secondary keywords but I feel when power is used to gain control over someone weaker for selfish purposes- that is abuse, and that person will be in a fear mode.

If you were to interfere with BEAR while he is trying to feed himself he will take a swing at you and the force behind that paw will send you into orbit.

As a representative of the 1st house this card is associated with the vigor of your body. Many people present themselves to be more superior than they really are because they do not want others to know their weaknesses.

House 2 – The Mouse 23

House of finances, what you value, your worth, assets & liabilities.

The suggested meanings of MOUSE are loss, deterioration, eating away, eroding. Mice will eat just about anything. They are sexually active and have a musky odor- thus the suggested meaning of personal hygiene. Sewers, smelly things. Something stinks.

Our three mice are having a party in the image. A good amount of the cheese is missing. The lantern in the background is burning brightly.

In the 2nd house connections, the loss of assets or things you value is important. Sometimes we see our financial problems on paper and it still doesn’t register and it gets out of hand. The next thing we know the bills multiply as the mice do, and rapidly.

House 3 – The Letter 27

House of many topics such as communication, writing, siblings, neighborhood, transportation, short trips etc.

Some meanings for the LETTER card are news, information, replies, applications, messages etc and it can be about anything. The card next to it will tell what it is.

Our beautiful bird has a white envelope with a red seal in it’s beak. The content of the envelope holds an important message or document. Because the bird is indoors and not outside, there will be some news that may be restricting in nature.

The connections all fit in relation to the Letter belonging to the 3rd house. It’s almost as if the bird is saying, “come and get it”. The news has arrived.

If you continue studying in a similar fashion you will achieve a comfort level and relationship with the cards.
