MOONLIT LOVE

A lot of Card Readers associate  love with the Moon.  Love can be felt very deeply by some of us.  Love is often a hidden emotion not fully realized yet.  If you are aware of  your love for a person you could be experiencing the shadows of the Moon.

Things are not what they seem under the Moonlight. Our eyes can play tricks on us. We might imagine all kinds of things and feel more intensified emotions.  Many of our loving encounters happen when the Moon is in the sky.  It’s easier to hide from the truth.

When the Moon card appears as an answer to a love question it indicates that some additional reflection is needed.   It might be time to explore your feelings a little further.  Getting the Moon card as an outcome isn’t necessarily negative. It merely means you need to discover the truth about the situation.

A look at the Mlle Lenormand Moon card.

There are but a few cards that I have to stop and think about how they fit into the layout. Normally, I do blocks of cards that center around specific themes but sometimes there is an “odd” card that somehow doesn’t fit in right away.

I find that with the Moon card on occasion. Knowing that the moon has different phases, the suggestion would be that the “theme” under inspection is going through such a phase. A lunar cycle can be involved hinting at a time frame for manifestation.

The moon has been associated with the deep roots of the PAST. A close connection to the Tarot High Priestess as well as the Tarot Moon cards. In some cases the #32 is a contributing influence to the other cards meanings so that clarity may be hidden.

Some readers of the Lenormand use the traditional suggested meanings of honor and a type of recognition. I think this is valid when the person getting the reading (or oneself) is in a position where that is a possibility.

The shadow meaning of the Moon card should be considered as well because when connected to the less promising cards the indication will be temporarily negative as well.

Emotions come under the rulership of the Moon card. The ebb and flow of feelings as with the tides on Earth. The Sun will intensify and strengthen the positive whereas the Clouds will increase the opposite.

When the Moon card doesn’t blend well with most of the other cards -I take it to mean one’s belief system of the moment which may or may not be distorted.

I like this card of the Moon. In the upper right hand corner is the Astrological glyph for Cancer which is appropriate as the moon is the ruler of the sign of Cancer, zodiac house #4.
Looks like the sheep herder is tired while sitting on the hollow log. Could the dog be trying to wake him up? The crescent moon hanging brightly in the background appears to have feminine features. It is never clearly understood what the artist is portraying- is it just a nice picture with no symbolic significance or is this card and all other cards full of subtle symbolism (as in the Tarot & Qabalah ?yes I know-how do you spell it correctly)

Under the moonlight, things are not what they seem, there are shadows. Are you looking at your situation clearly? Are you using your intuition? Time to wake up! BLUE- aura around the moon. The color blue is associated with water and water is associated with the subconscious as in the High Priestess of the Tarot-her gown turns into water -adding intuition.

The Moon represents the night, it is cooler at night too. In time questions, the answer comes at night or the night is involved. If it is a work question, maybe shifts are added like midnights or working well into the morning.
In a love question, maybe you do not see the “light” of the problem, which is the answer.
