Reading for Lady K & Gentleman D

After you lay the GENTLEMAN and LADY cards according to the instructions in the previous post start your interpretation at position 1. It is always a good idea to scan the entire layout to get a feel of the cards and keep the Crossing card in mind when merging the meanings of the cards up Card 5 (whatever question you may decide to name this position).

Try this Layout

POSITION 1: 34 FISH

BENEATH GENTLEMAN:

HOW DOES GENTLEMAN D SEE LADY K BASICALLY WHAT DOES HE THINK ABOUT HER?

FISH: This card has positive energy. He sees her as someone who can look after herself.

POSITION 2: 6 CLOUDS

LEFT OF GENTLEMAN:

DOES GENTLEMAN D WANT TO RETURN TO THE RELATIONSHIP WITH LADY K?

CLOUDS: He is not sure what he wants. There are a lot of things up in the air for him. Most likely he is experiencing some financial setbacks or is not where he wants to be to offer a steady relationship.

POSITION 3. 35 ANCHOR

ABOVE GENTLEMAN:

WHAT LADY K DOESN’T KNOW ABOUT GENTLEMAN K.

ANCHOR: Gentleman D is more reliable than she may think. I think his career direction is very important to him and he needs the security of steady work with little risk involved. He is not focused on the relationship in the same way as Lady K.

POSITION 4: 14 FOX

BRIDGE POSITION: RIGHT OF GENTLEMAN AND TO THE LEFT OF THE LADY. THE MIDDLE CARD.

WILL GENTLEMAN D AND LADY K BUILD A BRIDGE AND START OVER?

FOX: Not always a welcome card when asking about relationships. This card could mean some game playing but Lady K is smart (another level of the Fox meaning). Will they start over? In my analysis of this card I wouldn’t rule it out because the Fox card cautions to take things slowly and to really ask yourself if this is what you want. As I said before always factor the last card which in this case is the Mountain card.

POSITION 5: 21 MOUNTAIN

CROSSING CARD:

IS THERE A FUTURE FOR GENTLEMAN D AND LADY K?

MOUNTAIN: This last spot reveals the opportunities and oppositions in relation to the question. Your question can be different and this will still apply.

The Mountain card shows a distant future with many twists and turns. If you look carefully at the image on this card you will see roads or pathways through and over the mountain. In the background there is the sun’s aura. There are brighter times ahead.

The summation of all the cards in the various question positions suggest Lady K needs to move on with her own life. This does not mean move on with another male which she is free to, if she wants.

Lady K is losing a lot of energy by thinking about Gentleman D and what he thinks about her & the relationship. It’s not important what Gentleman D thinks! It is important what she needs to bring her some peace of mind.

The Fox card lends her some strategic energy. What this means is that she can choose to take the high road and not allow Gentleman D to think he has the upper hand. He does not! Lady K is in control.

Matters of the heart can rip us apart. The uncertainty of not getting truthful reassurance that we really do matter in our partner’s life. Women tend to experience shades of Love which men don’t understand.

Males have never really understood the Goddess Female

I think sometimes we don’t understand ourselves, either. :) :) :)

Simple Trigger Layout

Reading interpretation for Female E. using the French Cartomancy deck. The featured spread is the Simple Trigger layout.

TRIGGER ROW: COFFIN. LADY. HEART. LILY.

Female E. is represented by the LADY. In the past column we find the COFFIN suggesting some sort of ending or new direction involving a male -FISH. The past column does show optimism regarding this new direction which is depicted by the SUN card.

In the now column the GENTLEMAN is directly above the LADY. This means the male is very much on her mind. She is thinking about him quite profoundly. He in turn is worried about money (FISH) and some challenges (MOUNTAIN) which are before him. Beneath the LADY lies the WHIP card. This card foretells some disagreement coming or lack of clarity in communication.

Directly in front of the LADY is the HEART card falling in the immediate column. The female is looking right at this card. Her emotions are tied with this male (GENTLEMAN) and she will be a little suspicious (SNAKE) in the near future. The obstacles suggested by the MOUNTAIN card will be in the relationship (HEART). The female feels something is not right (SNAKE). It could be another female (SNAKE) involved.

By the time Female E’s birthday rolls around this situation should be resolved.  The LILY card promises that harmony will be restored.  The SCYTHE in the soon column suggests the aggravations of the MOUNTAIN card will cease. The CLOVER depicts a fast solution.

The overall important card in the Trigger Layout is the LILY card. It is positive. The Layout ends in the CLOVER card which suggests whatever dilemma is going on now it should be concluded before Female E’s birthday.

Card of Day. Lenormand Stars/ Mountain- follow up

DAY 3

As I pulled into the driveway I noticed the night sky was very clear.  I found myself gazing at the twinkling stars and wishing. I wasn’t sure what I was wishing but felt very much connected even though I was a tiny speck among the great Universe. It was a very tiring day.  I completely forgot I drew the STARS card last night until I reviewed my post.

The MOUNTAIN card ended up representing a situation which was much more complicated than first thought.  I did wish I wasn’t hearing what I heard.  With all due respect to my family I won’t reveal exactly what is going on but enough to be able to apply the Cards I pick.  There is a major procedure scheduled which may or may not work.  After studying the MOUNTAIN card I think there will be an evasive technique performed to get at the source of the situation.  I’m thinking the entire health situation is the MOUNTAIN.

One more thing I would like to add is that when I spoke to my father I could see a MOUNTAIN of Strength emanating from his eyes.  Those teary eyes were twinkling like little STARS. I know the Universe heard my silent wish as I looked out the window of the hospital room as the sun was setting.

contributing Card of the Day- Lenormand Mountain

DAY 3

I have had many dreams of late which ended up giving me guidance through symbolism.  Last night I dreamt of a tear in adapter power cord of my computer.   This propelled me to draw a contributing card to the STARS I drew last night.

The contributing card is MOUNTAIN.  When combined with the STARS this duo can indicate an almost impossible fulfillment of a wish being made.  However, another way to look at it is that it will be Mighty Wish which can be achieved one step at a time.

It takes a very skilled person to climb a mountain especially if it is steep.  There are other ways around the mountain which can take longer and equally as dangerous.  The mountain in the image can suggest an Illness or Disease especially if you have a health related question on your mind.

A mountain does not move.  It just sits there against the horizon.  I am curious to discover how this card’s meanings will play into all that is going on right now.  Can a mountain be destroyed?  Will there be some major obstacle which was revealed by my dream.  A tear in a power cord.  Is this a leak or actual rupture of some sort??

21 MOUNTAIN

#21 Mountain- Lenormand

#21 Mountain

The Mountain card has several meanings. Typically it represents blocks, obstacles, hurdles, challenges and even goals.

This card means that it would be better to climb the mountain getting to the other side instead of just standing there and thinking it is totally impossible to conquer. If you go the long way around the circumference (of the problem or situation) it will take longer and you may meet up with even more delays.

Dealing head on with the issue at hand is best. When you see the Mountain card in the future spots you can be sure that you will have to confront something rather major. Some thing or person is in the way. In order for you to progress and move forward that thing or person needs to be dealt with. Of course you can ignore or avoid the situation, but 9/10 times it will follow you because maybe you have to resolve whatever it is. Maybe you “need” that thing or person.

There are both opportunities and challenges in the Mountain card.

As a goal – it suggests that you need to break down your priorities into small steps to achieve the results you want.

As an obstacle – it warns that there is more work ahead of you prior to accomplishing what it is you have set out for yourself or what others may have put on your path.

As Spiritual guidance – there is no need to worry because on top of the mountain stands The Hermit with his lantern lighting your way. He will protect you and guide you so that you can see the rocks on your path.

Many practitioners of the Lenormand read this card to mean an enemy or adversary. The card can represent someone who has power over you, such as a boss or even the law. You will have to determine the theme of the layout so that the meaning you chose makes reasonable sense.

When in combination with other cards ……. Continue reading
