4. What she faces 

The Key card contains promising energy for all questions. This card tells you there is a solution to almost any dilemma or situation requiring further decisions. The image shows the waxing and waning moon with the key in the center. Well, that is the way I want to read the image. To me this indicates cycles of the moon as there is cycles in any problem or question. A time when the situation seems to be full blown and a time where less energy is consumed to think about it.

The lady in the Reading is taking a wait and see approach perhaps letting the situation solve itself which many times it does. Sometimes doing nothing at all is doing something.

5. OUTCOME:  The Rider card joins the Gentleman and Lady but does not provide a definite answer about this relationship. In this image we find the knight of cups holding what could be the Caduceus which is a symbol of medicine. Medicine often signifies the opportunity for healing. The cups knight does represent positive energy as well in romantic situation.

Is there a chance for the relationship to continue on some level?

Taking all the cards into consideration especially the final card, The Rider, I feel that the relationship is not completely over despite the distancing between these 2 people.

In fact, The Rider will bring the Gentleman closer to the Lady whether in miles or on an emotional level. Also, the Key card brings more of a favourable contribution.

afterthoughts on previous Fox post

In the previous post I detailed some possible meanings for the Lenormand cards illustrated in the above image.  I started thinking about the FOX card again today as I was preparing a post on my other blog.

When combining the PATH with FOX a wrong decision may have been made by the LADY based on some information or news she received.

This news (LETTER) could have been misleading (SNAKE) or a corrupted version. As the result the LADY made up her mind in regards to the GENTLEMAN.

The CLOVER would suggest the LADY & GENTLEMAN engaged in the conversation and the situation dissolved quickly.  This does not rule out the fact they may break up (TOWER) over some other situation which could materialize over the weeks to come.

I am going to briefly interpret the 20 Lenormand cards belonging to a full board (36) reading.

The GENTLEMAN card is the significant other of the female LADY of this reading.  Here we can see that he may be keeping secrets BOOK from her regarding a possible health issue TREE. It looks like he may have gotten some news LETTER in the recent past which requires some further investigation or solutions KEY.  I want to read ANCHOR as something which is rooted TREE in his past and which could also involve a female STORK Queen of Hearts friend DOG.

The LADY represents the female getting the reading.  The BOOK card touches both the LADY and GENTLEMAN cards and means there is something hidden from the lady which involves the male. As you can see the dark  CLOUDS are ahead of  her in the immediate future column. The King of Clubs is looking towards the LADY card and I want to read this as an imminent situation coming up.  The RIDER is bringing some news or circumstance into the LADY’s life real soon.  Maybe even within the next few days.  I can’t help but think the GENTLEMAN has a strong association with this.

Is the RIDER bringing news of grief BIRDS and undue hardship CROSS?  Will there be a sudden SCYTHE turn of events from a situation which was not revealed BOOK to the female?

Let’s look at the HEART card next.  This card will reveal the female’s emotional situation.  It looks like there will be a fated event CROSS affecting her emotions HEART which will cause her much unbalance WHIP at the beginning of this circumstance.  Changes STORK are coming which could end up in a huge argument WHIP.  The LILY card hints at a romantic connection which will as a result end up in a decision PATH of which way to go after this episode is brought into the open.

When the BEAR card is near the HEART it does suggest a powerful attraction.  Another way to read BEAR is as a person, an older man.  Many Lenormand card Readers use the HEART card to actually represent the physical heart.  If you look back in the same row you can see the TREE card which does suggest health to a certain degree.  For the most part ANCHOR is positive, however, it can also mean something which will not go away like a disease.

I have a gut feeling the GENTLEMAN has a health issue TREE and the extent of it is not fully known BOOK.

Let’s examine the SCYTHE card next.  We all know this card can be very negative when connected to BIRDS,  CLOUDS and CROSS.  The only way we can read these cards in a positive way is to determine if the abrupt chaotic situation is beneficial in the long run.  Short term pain long term gain.

There is no doubt in my mind the female represented by the LADY is in for quite a disturbing time over the next few weeks or months.

Those are just a few possible predictions.  The cards reveal much more when you criss cross them or read just the rows or columns. Each card is a word of a sentence. When you establish the sentence you have a theme or probable prediction.

Card of the day Lenormand Rider -follow up

RIDER

Yes, news did come in today.  A new doctor relayed lots of information which accumulated from the past several weeks.  The momentum picked up and started spinning out of control.

I kept asking for clarity as there was some confusion determining precisely what all this new info actually meant.

I interjected in the scheduled plan for tomorrow and demanded ‘straight’ answers as there was no consensus on what exactly was the problem.  It made no sense to me to proceed and I became quite vocal about it.  Who else is going to be a second voice on my dad’s behalf?

RESULT: a second opinion is being called in to evaluate the situation

I think the RIDER card can bring in waves of  news or info which could sweep you off your feet if you are not grounded.  Of course I did not draw a second card but I suspect I would have chosen the Scythe (abrupt halt to a plan or situation).

The RIDER card can represent a new person involved in a situation as well.

Card of the Day: Lenormand Rider

DAY 1:

I have always found an inner peace when I write about my favourite subject, the Cards.  Even though I am going through a difficult time right now with my beloved father I have decided to continue with some shorter regular posts using the Lenormand Cards.  At different times I will use the Pages of Shustah, Ziguener Wahrsagekarten and other oracle decks which I have written about to some degree.

Objective:

• Personal Healing Therapy during my current journey
• Detail possible meanings of the cards for the Day
• Demonstrate examples of  the ‘real’ life situation in a follow up post

An important message may arrive today. This news is on it’s way.

Draw another card to see if the information will be positive or negative. I don’t really want to know so  I will wait to see how the day unfolds.

This card suggests momentum and can indicates action behind planning.

At the end of the day  or prior to the next card I will share an aspect of what really happened with a follow up post.

Simple Situation Layout

Layouts don’t have to be complicated.   Much information can be arrived at using few cards. Sometimes we just want to know where we are at and really have no question in mind.  The Simple Situation layout requires on 5 cards.  The Lady if you are a female and the Gentleman if you are a male, provided you are using one of the Lenormand style cards.

This layout works with the Tarot as well.  Just pull out a card that resonates with you to represent yourself and place it in the middle.  Follow the diagram below.

1. Past- an influence that just happened.

The Rider card brings news, messages and announcements.  Since it falls in the past the person heard something just recently, maybe even the day before doing the reading.  At this point it cannot be determined if this message is positive or negative.  When you study card 2 in the Now spot you will have a better idea.

2. Now- in the present.  It can reveal what is going on currently.

The Anchor card often represents one’s job or career.  It will also lend a supportive influence to card #1, the Rider and only because it is positive in nature.  It is very clear the person received news around a situation closely connected to work.

3. & 4. Future – these two cards describe what’s coming up, in the next few weeks.  The top future card is linked to the past.  It is similar to the result.  The bottom future card is linked to the Now card.  It will give you an overall outcome.

The top future card is the Birds.  When you hook this card up with the Rider (past card), it will suggest news that creates worry and nervous tension.  The bottom future card is the Scythe. The news that came in regarding the job or some form of security (anchor) has an unwanted ending for the most part.   There is a severance involved, it can be the loss of a job or a completion of a contract.

The Scythe card is always a warning to prepare yourself for some swift action.  It does have positive meanings as well.  Maybe the person is unhappy at their workplace and this situation comes as a relief.  In that aspect, it will suggest the end of worries caused by news around the job.

The Birds card is also a “time” card.  It means within “2″.  Whatever this situation is, it will come to pass with 2 weeks or 2 months tops.

The above interpretation is very basic but it gives a rather direct message.  Other information can be determined by these cards.  If you did have a specific question, then you would revolve the cards around the nature of the question.  It may not involve work, it could involve someone’s well being or a relationship.

#1-The Rider

#1 The Rider, 9 of hearts. I have seen several Lenormand decks and the theme is common- a male riding a horse, heading either to the left or to the right of the card. I think this should be kept in consideration-the direction the horse is heading. Not because right is future and left is past but because you want to be aware of which card the horse/rider is looking at.

For example: The Scythe, The Rider (facing the scythe), The Sun

At first glance it seems the news will be sudden, unexpected and startling. This might have just occurred recently. It depends what layout you use, let’s say you are using the layout of 36 which is very common in Europe. If all three of these cards fall in the future area of the layout, the scythe is still the past of a future event and the sun is the result/outcome of that original news. Follow me so far.

In other words, those three cards depict “what lead up to the news, the news, the reaction to the news”. The cards can fall in the past, present or future area of the layout out.

Above all, don’t forget to factor in the surrounding cards in the block of usually 9 cards (at most) but definitely the cross (+) block of 5 . ( I am still learning how to upload pictures/diagrams- haha and eventually will include them in my posts).

OMG- I just checked the mail and I have the Mystical Lenormand deck in front of me from Willow Tree Tarot -thank you Lisa!! I am so excited that I can hardly contain myself ha-ha-ha.

I will continue my post …..about The Rider shortly…need to “clear” my new deck and that means by casting a circle of protection that will enable me to use this deck for the highest good of all seeking advice.

shortly thereafter-The Lenormand Rider card is the messanger card. It can predict travel, depending on what cards surround it- and I can’t stress this enough.
Sometimes it is actually a person, a traveller coming from a distance, or a visitor. It represents speed and intellect as shown in the Mystical Lenormand by the symbol of Mercury in the upper right hand corner of the card and the winged helmet on the warrior. Delivery of a message comes with sense of urgency. These days communication also comes in many forms.
If the Rider represents a new encounter (love interest) it will be intense, but the length of contact cannot be measured by just the card.
