Lenormand Female faces decision
reading Lenormand 24 Heart
From the same layout as in the previous post the focus will be on the HEART card. The coffin and garden cards were read in combination with the clover cards already but they take on a different shade when coupled with the heart.

24 HEART
ANCHOR- signifies a sold or steady love to come (as they cards lie in the future rows/columns). This card will also expand on a work situation when read outside of the theme. Yes, it can mean the love of a job as well.
MOUNTAIN- can be romantic obstacles or problems which are a result of a decision (path)
SHIP- yearning for love or a love from a distance.
PATH- a decision around an emotional or romantic situation.
COFFIN- a new development in the heart theme
GARDEN- admiration from a small group of people
LETTER- news or more information around a romantic situation or even work (anchor)
CROSS- a fated encounter which could become a burden
DOG- loving feelings from a friend. Interestingly, the cross is above this card which reinforced loyalty.
24 HEART
This card is used to find out about circumstances around a relationship, love encounter or to get a feel of one’s love life. The heart can represent a young man if not taken in the ‘romantic context’.
So far we have determined, a possible ending from the previous post (coffin). The cards around the heart show a minor conflict still to come. The short term influence of the clover card (previous post) did end something….but continues on (coffin) in another form.
If someone where to ask me, ‘will my relationship work out?’ I would do this method of reading the block of cards around the heart if at all possible. It depends where the heart card is in the layout. You don’t always have a nice full block as in the image above.
My answer would be relatively positive as the scythe card is not close by but I would warn the person that they will be reassessing the connection (coffin) and reuniting. More than likely they will have a profound lesson despite it all as this encounter could have a Karmic (cross) quality to it.
reading Lenormand 2 CLOVER card

Mlle. Lenormand Cartomancy Deck
READING the CLOVER card
The image above is part of a 36 full board reading. There are many ways to read the Lenormand cards in this type of layout. One easier way is to locate ‘theme’ cards and use them as a focus. Let’s suppose you wanted to know how the CLOVER card would bring some luck or a short term situation. When you read the cards immediately surrounding the CLOVER card it is a good idea to follow some simple steps.
There are 5 cards surrounding CLOVER. These 5 cards should all tell a story around the focal card the CLOVER card. Will they all tie in? At this point it is unknown but as I take each combination the prediction should become more clear.
2 CLOVER- this card is one of rapidness, an influence not staying with a person or situation for a great length of time, it suggests an element of luck or uplifting energy, traditionally it is 3-4 days and possibly a bit longer if the adjoining cards are ones of resistance
12 BIRDS + CLOVER
One of the meanings of birds is grief. When you use this interpretation then the grief will be of a short duration.
15 BEAR + CLOVER
One of the meanings of bear which I like to use is either power or a significant male. Coupled with clover this duo can mean temporary good times are caused by a male.
CLOVER + 20 GARDEN
The first card often means a group of people. In combination with clover it can point to having fun with a circle of friends.
CLOVER + 3 SHIP
Many readers interpret ship to mean travel. When combined this duo can suggest last minute travel or enjoyment.
CLOVER + 8 COFFIN
Coffin can be read as an ending. Joined by the clover the ending could be amicable or surprisingly well. However, the card next to the coffin will actually reveal more. Initially the ending can be a superficial nice parting of ways until the emotions kick in.
Here comes the part where the blending could be a challenge. We have determined there could be a possible separation or at least a situation where there is some sort of division. The CLOVER and SHIP combo meaning doesn’t fit in very well and can be an aspect or contributing factor to the entire theme. CLOVER and GARDEN points to a pleasant experience as well and so does the BEAR combo.
Since we are targeting the CLOVER card in this theme it is important to stay on track. Of course, there are a multitude of other meanings when these cards are read horizontally, vertically and diagonally but if we did that it would only complicate the one simple theme around CLOVER.
Ok so let’s complicate this a little more.
BIRDS, CLOVER, COFFIN
-a circumstance filled with grief is short term and does eventually end
BEAR, GARDEN, SHIP
-a powerful male surrounded by many people plans to travel
BIRDS, BEAR
-grief caused by a powerful male
COFFIN, SHIP
-an ending is followed by travel
Judging by the other combination meanings there is definitely a significant male involved, some sort of sadness and an ending. The ship could be read as ‘moving on’ or flowing out of the picture. The group of people (GARDEN) might even be certain friends being instrumental in this ending as in the male chooses his friendships over and above everything else.
Is the CLOVER card a luck card in this example? Not really.
Lenormand Whip + Mountain
Over the last few months I have started to feel some uncomfortable pain in my arm which could be from the type of day job I have. I have noticed the appearance of the Lenormand Whip + Mountain cards quite often lately.
WHIP can suggest some sharp pains which is exactly what I get when I keyboard, and that would be 12 hours some days.

11 WHIP
MOUNTAIN can also represent one’s bones. Calcification?

21 MOUNTAIN
Combination: It would make sense if these two cards pointed to some temporary stiffness in joints as is in my case. I would hope I am not developing some arthritic condition.
I recently uploaded a video to youtube which I pulled due to the poor quality. After some feedback from people they all mentioned I appeared stiff. These people do not know each other. Before I pulled it I watched it again and it is evident I was experiencing much pain trying to keep it under control while doing the video. So, my first video exposure failed miserably as I was not able to release the real Seaqueen.
I will attempt another one.

Questions from Ask my Layouts comments
As you may know I am authoring another blog over at Ask my Layouts which teaches how to read various cards in a variety of positions in a number of simple layouts I created.
HERE is the Comment. My answers are in pink font.
Hi Madam Seaqueen,
———————,————————-,———————–.
1. most times I get to read the spread about the current situation (the present)and not as an answer to my question!
Often the cards will answer the questions which your subconscious directs. It may not answer the question you consciously ask. When this happens it’s a good idea to think about what the cards are saying to see if it does somehow fit into the question you are asking. If not, then use a different spread using less cards to get a more direct answer. Design your own 3 or 4 card layout. Assign names to the positions in direct relationship to your question. Make one position as the answer spot. If that doesn’t work then your question should be left for another day to ask. Can’t push the Oracles.
2. when I use the trigger layout I get the answers through reading the columns horizontally and not vertically!!
I think reading the cards horizontally and not vertically might be your method. The Trigger Layout is designed to be read both ways. The top horizontal line is the past of each of column of cards. The middle (Trigger Row) is read horizontally anyways. It is the core of the entire reading. The bottom horizontal is the result of the two cards preceding in the vertical columns. Sometimes layouts are a mere guidance to find what works for you. If you have better luck reading horizontally then continue to do so but do try to study how the vertical columns blend with each other. This takes lots of practice to master.
3. some cards meanings are still vague for me in combination with other cards e.g. the Birds, the Cross, the Scythe, the Whip.
I get confused when I have those cards in a combined reading. Maybe you can elaborate a bit more about them.
BIRDS:
-this card does present a challenge to read. Often it implies ‘2′ of something and nothing more. It can represent 2 older people usually women. It does indicate nervousness and being on edge about something. Coupled with other cards one of these meanings apply or a meaning which happens to come to your mind as you study it. Use your gut feelings to guide you and it’s important not to force a meaning in combination.
CROSS:
-this card is a finalization or completion. The end of the road. It has traditional associations with a heavy emotional burden which can be created by others or a situation. Look to the cards near it and you can determine what is being tested. Is it your faith about something?
SCYTHE:
-simple as cutting out, cutting off, severing or eliminating. This cards bring a situation to an end. It cleans up the excess of anything. Coupled with Mouse it will bring an end to loss. Coupled with the heart it suggest a sudden break up in a relationship which is painful. Combined with Anchor it strongly suggests the elimination of a job. Whatever the card around Scythe it will prevent further development. This is not always a bad thing. Unhealthy relationships or pressures at work will end without much warning are usually a blessing. The scythe is also a Jack of Diamonds which would represent a relentless person someone who shouldn’t be provoked. He has the capacity to fire off a scorpion sting. Many people in financial occupations, lenders of money etc can be the scythe card.
WHIP:
-this is another card can represent the ‘2′ of something. Generally it is a card of arguing, fighting, debating or discussing. When it falls with other cards it will tell you that situation will come out in the open and be talked about. The talk usually escalates into an argument. Traditionally it suggests pain like a headache, toothache, backache. Study the cards around it to determine if there is a health issue (tree). This card is also the Jack of Clubs – a younger male found in the business world or active in sports. When the Whip and Scythe are together the outcome is brutal – but over fast.
Thanks for taking the time for answering my questions.
I hope my answers are helpful. Madame Seaqueen.
Take care,
Eva.
