As a one card Daily Draw. It will be one of those days when you could be stopped by a police officer. Situations involving professional matters can be of concern today. Fidelity is a very positive card and suggests that you do not give up on any goals or plans that you have.

When the CONSTANCY card comes up in a layout it give stable energy to the surrounding cards. It anchors the energy. When it falls beside a card depicting a person, they are predictable and can be read like an open book. The essence of this card is similar to the feeling that you get when you are in a routine or habit of doing things.
Constancy, determination, stability, reliable friend.
DAILY GUIDANCE CARD
Your day will probably be uneventful. It should be a relatively smooth day with no major ups and downs. If you are concerned about a condition around someone’s life, there will be no significant change one way or the other. You’ll be doing the same old thing at the same old time. The answer is you will get what you need, not what you want.
There is good support with this card. It will add a steadiness to the events that occur during the flow of the day. Usually this is a good thing. In some cases, it might not be because if the circumstance or person involved is not favorable, probably it will continue to be as unfavorable. At least there won’t be any dramatic change either way.

When the BABY card appears in the layout it holds a promise of eventual growth in some area. It will add more information about the stage of development the situation or person is in. The card also represents worries and will point out which areas need supervision, nurturing and tending. A child or dependent. A disadvantaged friend. Having fun and avoiding responsibility. The circumstances are not very serious. There is an emotional attachment to a situation or person.
A birth or rebirth. The beginning of a new project or venture. New or increased responsibilities that will require careful attention.
The card denotes new ideas, a fresh start, and improved circumstances. It can indicate added income such as a raise in pay, or increased profits. This card can also predict the successful start of a new project or business venture that will require careful attention to get off the ground. It can denote financial assistance coming from an unexpected source. Specifically Bambino represents an infant or child, and can predict a pregnancy or new addition to the family.

When the Anger card appears in a layout it signifies a profound negative emotional reaction around the person or situation card depicted near it. If you can remember a time when you were really angry about something, the essence of that anger is contained within this card. Pay attention to the surrounding cards to pinpoint what is the cause of this unpleasant response. At times, people have this reaction because they are functioning from fear and think they having no control.
DAILY GUIDANCE CARD
Something will happen today to tick you off. Anger is a great motivator when you get to the point where you need that emotional fuel to get something done. It doesn’t always have to be a bad thing that is traced with venom. For the most part it will be reaction to what a person has said or done that is not in compliance to what you would have done.
Today you could find yourself at the receiving end of some cross words from another individual. Maybe you deserve it and maybe you don’t. The other person is revved up and you happen to be there.
It is a good idea not to get behind the wheel if you are in an enraged state because your mood can escalate if the person in front of you is driving too slow or cuts you off. Count to 10 during the course of the day and evening if you feel anger welling up inside of you. It’ll blow over quicker.
If you are prone to having a short fuse anyways stay away from difficult people. There could be an outing to a sports event where there will be lots of screaming and yelling, like a baseball, soccer, hockey game. This would be a great emotional outlet.

Any type of conversations you have will be in a combative style. There will be no reaching an agreement without a fight. Your brother or sister gets mad at you for something you said. There could be problems in your neighborhood with noisy neighbors.

The domestic scene will be strained. People are generally high strung and get on each other’s nerves. Familiarity breeds contempt. Go out for a walk to cool off. It’ll be a hot affair with intense feelings. Wild times in the bedroom. If you are a screamer at least shut the windows. Sexual tension but in a good way. Best not to gamble because you will blow a fuse when you keep losing.

Letting off steam about work. Minor problems arise that ruffle your feathers. Getting asked to cover for someone because they were a no show. As if you don’t have enough to do. Time to get the blood pressure checked especially if you have been upset lately.

If you are married it would be a good idea to just nod your head without speaking if possible. Your partner has come home fit to be tied. The storm will pass eventually, but it will pass.

If you are single, you will stay single until you learn to control your temper. No one likes a walking volcano.

Zigeuner, Biedermeir, Art Deco, Sibilla type cards. The Widower does mean much the same as his companion card the Widow. Both cards indicate the state of profound sadness.
The deep grief you feel when you lose someone you love, leave long time employment reluctantly or part with a house that meant a lot to you. When a special pet dies or a child leaves home, it leaves an emptiness in ones heart. Or having some medical procedure that changes how you feel and changes your body.
There are many things in life that add up to a compounded grief. Sometimes it’s one loss after another. In this society people are not allowed to grieve. You cannot just snap your fingers and get over it. How does 3 days off work help you to deal with the pain you feel in your heart? By keeping so busy that you ignore or bury your emotions- how does that help you to go through your feelings and to get out on the other side, healed or at least recovering.
The suffering of the Widower is akin to the Widow. The male and female version of grief. Men grieve differently or so I was told when I went for grief counseling during a traumatic period in my life not too long ago. Men tend to move on faster. Is it the way of the jungle? In general, women cling on to the emotions connected to the memories of the person.
I do believe that angels change places with you just when you can’t take anymore or when the heaviness of your cross is cracking every bone in your back.
The Widower can provide the wings of an angel to those he meets. He knows what it means to feel loss. He will never come up with an excuse that he can’t go somewhere -he just goes. Sure his heart might not be in it but he has an understanding much deeper than the Widow card. There is strength in the Widower card, courage and a silence that men know who have come out of combat. You accept it and don’t psycho-analyze the sh*t out of it.
The Widower is a dutiful friend. He will not ask for your help. He helps himself by helping you.
Many of the cards I write about on this blog have a card to represent Hope such as the Sibilla, Art Deco, Zigeuner, Beidermeir, etc. To some extent the Lenormand Anchor card is linked and the Tarot Star card. To hope is to expect or desire for something to happen. We all have that feeling one time or another. We all hope things will be Ok. The card tells you not to give up. When hope is gone so is the positive energy associated with this emotion. Never give up hope.

Hoping is not a fast process. No amount of hoping will make anything happen unless you back it up with a plan of action and even then you may not get it the results you want. The Hope card is about slow results. Hoping can be negative if your motives are spiteful and out of jealousy. I don’t mean by hoping the other team loses in some sporting event, by hoping that tragedy befalls another human being. And yes there are people like that in this world who are capable of casting an evil eye. This world has to have negative influences as well so that we can recognize the positive when it does happen. When you want or hope for more than you need, you take something away from another person- and they have less. It’s not fair but such is the law of the Universe. And it prevails. It’s ok to hope someone pulls through an operation but in the end whatever that person’s journey is on this earth will occur despite it all. Don’t mistake hope for worry.
When this card shows up in the future it will reveal a situation that requires much faith and belief as depicted in the images by having your feet placed firmly on the ground. To anchor your thoughts by grounding them and yet holding on to the fluidity of the possible changes depicted by the water.
It is vital that a person does not shut the window of hope in the face of tomorrow.
In it’s most highest aspect it is a very spiritual card suggesting conversations with the Universe, God or your higher self.

One of the meanings of the Widow card is mourning. Something has or will come to an end. It will cause the deep expression of sorrow. Not all things that come to an end cause mourning and at times a person can feel relief if it is an oppressive or victimizing situation. In that case, this card means a finalization, putting things to rest or burying your past. 
When you become detached from someone or some situation you have to let it go. The more you hold on, the more it hurts. Experiencing sadness affects people differently. There are shades of sadness as there are stages in mourning. When the Widow card comes up and is right beside the Sweetheart or Lover card there is a very good chance that the person is grieving. Not in all cases but in most. The Widow card indicates a profound loss. If the person loses sight of the fact that endings are part of life, the pain will haunt them and they cannot move forward. Acceptance is important.
The image shows a woman in a cemetery. She is paying homage to a cross and the ground beneath her where her loved one is buried. She does not realize that it is too late to say all the things that she is silently whispering. The regrets will eat away at her and erode her heart. She should have spoken her mind when the person was alive. This card warns of being sorry for some action taken.
Does the woman in the picture feel a sense of obligation? Do you feel obligated to go through a situation that is depicted in the surrounding cards. Is it your duty? When this card is near the Misfortune card it indicates a pending trauma through some bad news or unforeseen catastrophe. There is a twist of events that will make it difficult to think clearing. Getting stuck in the news.
When the Widow card is beside the Love card it presages that your romantic relationship will become barren of emotions and could very well produce a tear or two. The person is not capable of depth partly because of past experiences and the baggage that is still left over from that.
Coupled with the Journey card there will be some travel necessary probably to come to the assistance of someone who is very lonely and quite possibly depressed. Maybe it’s a funeral.
The Widow card represents a divorcee as well and has aspects of the Queen of Swords in the Tarot- who has known a tough life but at the same time remains emotionally detached while fulfilling her duties and the demands that she faces in her life. In some ways, the Lenormand Scythe card can be linked to the Widow card in that there is a severance of “something”.
Very often the Widow card will signify a woman without an emotionally connected partner. She would be the type of person that does not allow people to get close to her out of the fear of getting hurt.
When the Widow card is next to the House card, grief come to the home and family- an unexplainable event.
If you asked a question about getting pregnant and the Widow comes up as the answer- there is a strong likelihood that you cannot conceive without further medical advice.
One more thing, the Widow card suggests that you are alive but not living life.

Sibilla Oracle shows the bride-to-be on the left side of the card and a lady-in waiting who is adjusting the wedding gown. The 5 of hearts insert is at the top left hand corner. The bride holds a hankie in her right hand. The other woman has a garland of red bows in her hair. The number 26 is in the upper right hand corner.
THE CARD- The marriage card suggests bonding. This does not necessarily mean between 2 individuals, it can suggest a committed union between 2 partners for any reason. The unity within a family atmosphere. Sometimes a person is married to their career or a hobby.
When you learn to find cooperative rooting within yourself only then will you attract the same commitments from others.

When you select journey as a one card daily draw it is self explanatory as are most of the cards. I think the Biedermeir Aufschlagkarten and Zigeuner Wahrsagekarten present imagery to trigger intuitive and sometimes fairly obvious deductions.
Really what does a journey mean? If you look at the scene in the card it shows are horse driven carriage speeding along with a female passenger.
You already know that you will most likely go somewhere today that you did not plan on going to or thought about it off and on and then suddenly decided to “take off” and go-
Your journey card can predict an actual trip involving airplanes, buses, trains etc but only you would know that. If you are expecting a visitor and are not sure when they will arrive, today just might be the day.
Other trips would fall into the Astrological house #3 ruled by Mercury/Gemini. The short distance trips.
It can be anything from running off to get your hair cut, to picking up the new arrival of a certain book at your favorite book store. Errands fall under this card as well. Taking one of your parents to an appointment.
You may have to go to a walk in clinic and so on. Or last minute grocery shopping because a certain person invited themselves over for supper and is bring all their kids.
If you are not certain how to read the JOURNEY card choose another clarification card. I like using 2 cards for the one card draw because these types of fortune telling cards usually leave me with questions such as who? why? when? what? where? Remember the 5 W’s As a Spiritual card - the advice of the card is to go within for your answers. Sounds pretty easy doesn’t it. We all know the answers are within but how many of us have a clear channel without all the ego-garbage-chatter. If you do, I highly doubt you would use “cards” as your tool of the trade. You would be one of the enlightened ones and “they” do not surf on the internet ha-ha-ha. If you were to use JOURNEY to ask the question, “what is it I need to know about myself today”, your answer is within the card. Which of the figures resonate with you. Are you the woman in the carriage, the man with the whip on the horse, one of the horses or the distant village in the background? For example- if you chose the man with the whip, then perhaps you are BEING TOO HARD ON YOURSELF- your own task master, whipping yourself with guilt or some other negative emotion. Another example- if you relate to the village in the background, then your message is that you are DISTANCING or REMOTELY connected to aspects of yourself. Basically, you need to get connected to circumstances around you. OR you need to pull back while your emotions are in chaos. When you recognize this you are tapping into your higher level. Is it an expectation or desire for a favorable outcome? You don’t really hope that something “bad” or unpleasant will happen.
When the Hope card comes up in a reading the message is not to give up on a person or situation. Hope is a feeling as depicted by the water in the background. The trident in the woman’s hand only has 2 points so it is not really a trident but I think it was meant to be. The symbolism of a trident is Neptune, god of water. Ruler of Pisces, a water sign.
The feeling I get from the Beidermeier & Sibilla hope cards that the woman is totally grounded (feet on earth). She is not being unrealistic about her hope.

Looking at the deck one as a feeling of speed (dust clouds of the wheels) – the driver isn’t really paying attention to the road. The lady in the carriage seems to be alarmed. It looks like the 2 horses have blinders on -
There is town in the background, however there are no roads leading to the town from where the horse-driven carriage is or so it seems. They are heading in another direction. What’s the hurry?Whenever this card comes up in a reading and it always comes up if you do the map of 36 cards. Pay attention to the card before, above, beneath and after it. There will be a “hint” as to the reason of this “quick delivery”.
When this card is beside the “Lover” or “Sweetheart” card – there could be distance involved, away on a trip, or a plan to travel.
