2 card reading with Art Deco cards

The Art Deco fortune telling cards contain the 36 Zigeuner Wahrsagekarten – Gipsy cards plus an additional 16 Sibilla style cards.  There are 52 cards in the entire deck which take some skill and lots of experience when reading a very large layout.

You can do a 2 card draw to reveal what the Art Deco fortune telling cards advise you.

Card 1 –  is the current circumstances you should know about or should be addressing. This card reveals your state of heart/mind

Looks like you aren’t seeing things in perspective as your own vanity is getting in the way.  It is important to step out of your Ego state if you want to resolve any issues around a person or situation.  Pride can be positive but not when it prevents you from reaching a compromise or workable solution.

Card #2 will reveal way how to handle the energies of Card #1.  You either capitalize on it or you change your approach.

The MISUNDERSTANDING Card clearly points to an attitude problem.  There will be no solution to the question asked even if you didn’t ask one.  If you picked these 2 cards and weren’t consciously aware of any question, the Cards definitely reveal you have a problem which you are not wanting to address or deal with.

The main problem is you think it’s not you co-creating disharmony but it really is partly your fault. Instead of seeing yourself as a person who is so totally perfect take another look and be a little more honest with yourself.

The energy of the 2nd card is not conducive to any type of agreement forthcoming until the blinders are taken off and the issue is looked at realistically.

As part of the solution, refrain from being defensive and you might be able to avert unnecessary bickering and Ego induced arguments.  Try to listen to what is being said and you will hear the answer loud and clear.

officer.jpg

Top: Art Deco fortune telling cards and Gipsy-Zigeuner Wahrsagekarten
Bottom: Vera Sibilla Italiana and Biedermeir

All four images that are displayed are for the purpose of study.

Each card shows a male in some sort of uniform and he has a sword like weapon close to him.

The essence of this card istaking care of business“.

OFFICER –

Work related, dark haired man, the other man

TAROT –

The Knights

SUGGESTIONS

ü symbolizes a person who wears a uniform in their profession,

ü medical, police, postman, fireman, mechanic, pilot, paramedic, delivery man

ü can be a son or brother or a loving young man

ü the “other” man in a relationship

ü a new casual lover

ü in finances- act responsibly

ü people in authority that serve the community

ü a good friend

ü officer+judge = lawyers, accountants, teachers

As a one card Daily Draw. It will be one of those days when you could be stopped by a police officer. Situations involving professional matters can be of concern today. It does not have to be a problem, just something that will require your attention. If you are dating someone new, you could hear from him/her today. Are you expecting a package in the mail? You may find yourself defending your position or belief about a situation or person. Do you have a medical appointment today? It’s best to view from a distance and refrain from personal involvement unless of course you are in danger of being incriminated too.

Take another card from the deck to get more information or clarification on how the Officer card could influence you today. Most of the time, OFFICER is a stand alone card. It provides the “energy” to get things done, whether you do the deciding or someone else provokes you into action.

PRISON card

1prisoncard.jpg

Art Deco fortune telling card Prison

The image shows a man in a prison uniform sitting passively on a bench inside a small room. The window in the background has bars on it. The number #17 may or may not mean anything significant.

When this card comes up in a reading it will forewarn of a constricting situation. If it lies above the Sweetheart card a some sort of layout and you are a female the suggestion is loneliness. To the left of the Sweetheart will indicate the past and whatever the situation was, it is probably passing slowly. Many times it will reveal involvement in a circumstance that can be labeled as a “rut”. To the right of the Sweetheart -a time is coming up shortly where feelings of helplessness will be felt regarding a person or situation.

If you are a male, then the lady you are interested in feels too controlled by the relationship. If you are a male and there is no special lady then the PRISON card will depict that it will be quite some time before you begin a relationship. Your chances are limited or within certain boundaries. Or maybe “she” is taken.

The man in the image looks sorry for what he did. Or perhaps he is innocent and thinking about when he will be released. When you apply this to every day life it can mean that your hands are tied in a certain matter & there is nothing you can do but wait.

There is an underlying psychological influence within this card as well – our belief system. Are we living within limits because we think that we cannot do any better so we just settle? Do we wait for others to pass judgement on us or hope they give us permission to pursue what we want?

As a fortune telling card it would basically mean that there is a catch. There are strings to the outcome or result of the question. There is a trade off – a price to pay.

I think that what I hear this card saying is that your value system could be in jeopardy.

The PRISON card takes on a whole different meaning when next to the THIEF, ENEMY or LOSS cards. There can actually be some petty criminal activity going on. With the JUDGE, ECCLESIASTIC, OFFICER nearby there is a very could chance of a court related scenario. Study the cards surrounding the PRISON to see what you come up with.

In my experience I had found this card to represent a structured organization with strict procedures or policies. If you are wondering if you will like your new job and this cards shows up…guess again. There will be lack of creative freedom and mostly likely the hours involved will be regimented. Very little time off.

When the PRISON card is next to MALADY (illness) it will suggest an actual medical clinic or hospital. When this card is beside the PARTY it will indicate an art gallery or museum. Often it is a concert, too.

As a spiritual card I can see that one of the lessons involved would be freedom of expression, letting your true essence to emerge and to release the control of the personality (ego).

FIDELITY card

3fidelity.jpg

1littlesam.jpegABOUT THE CARD

The FIDELITY card brings positive energy to the adjoining cards. It strengthens the weaker cards and can soften the more negative ones. This card adds devotion to a situation. It describes a person that you can count on. The essence is the same as your loving pet, especially the dog who is waiting for you when you come home. Devotion is allegiance to a person or cause.

Daily guidance card

Today you will be asked to help out a friend or close associate. At the very last minute an acquaintance manages to assist you with your problem. You need to get another person’s perspective on a situation that you are thinking about today. Don’t give up on getting that phone call or message – it will come.

Is it time for your pet to go to the Vet’s? Small animals could be involved in you daily activities. A neighbor might ask you to look in on their cat or dog because they are going away for a few days.

Fidelity is a very positive card and suggests that you do not give up on any goals or plans that you have.

With the Thief Card- NEGATIVE - unfaithfulness, betrayals, loss of a trusting friend, not being able to count on anyone. Think twice about doling out your trust when around people who appear too friendly.

VISIT card

VISIT
[art deco fortune telling cards, 6 language zigeuner wahrsagekarten]

Right image- The Zigeuner [Gipsy] card is more specific to a connection from the past suggested by the “young” girl. Youth and the aged in a scene typically represents “of the past” or a generation. Something like the 10 of Pentacles in the Tarot.

The Art Deco card shows someone visiting, probably a known acquaintance (the dog seems friendly enough) but if you really look at the card :-) it might be a travelling/ door to door salesman, too.

Traditionally this card means “a gift”, but in a different way than the GIFT card.

If you are married, living together or in a committed relationship….

Financial questions: assistance comes from a friend who is a close member of the family.

Romantic questions: you will hear a confession about some secret plans.

Work related question: good progress will be made. Keep on doing what you are doing- make yourself visible.

Surprise element:  the in-laws are coming.

If you are single, with no committed relationship…..

Romantic questions: return of a past lover or someone you used to be an item with.

Work questions: back on the road again with the possibility of more new clients

Financial questions: not smooth enough yet but will improve when you actually apply some action to your thoughts.

Surprise element: a match making situation, or even meeting someone for the first time through on line dating….
