Jan. 22/12. The 3 Card Answer Layout – Pages of Shustah

Happy 2012 – listen to the teachings of the Tarot Hierophant

The 3 card Answer Layout easy to use with any deck of cards.

I decided to use the Pages of Shustah© cards to demonstrate the Answer layout.

The question is about the future of a potential  relationship with a certain gentleman for female K.

The overview of the 3 positions and brief meanings of the cards appear before my actual interpretation of the cards in these positions.  The image below is self-explanatory.

future of relationship question

Card 1:  Past

An influence or person is about to leave the current scenario. It could be an experience, which is just passing that makes way for something new that is about to enter your life.

GREEN: Lord of Contemplation – energy of this card is one of progress. A card of deep thought & focus.

INTERPRETATION:  The Lord of Contemplation clearly represents female K has been thinking about a certain male in the recent past.  The energy of this card is not stagnating as it is followed by another green card in the Now position.

Card 2:  Now

Describes what is going on currently. Here you can find out if the person is dealing with challenges or good influences from another person or situation. Often personal thoughts and feelings are revealed.

GREEN: The Candle - energy of this card is one of progress. A card of shedding light on a situation.

INTERPRETATION: Female K hasn’t given up on the potential of this relationship. This card reminds me of the olden days when candles were lit and placed in a window as symbolism of loyalty to the object of love. The light of the candle burned for that special person to help guide their way back home.

There are no cards in this layout to indicate the “light” has gone out on the hope of a relationship. Even though the last card is Black it does not possess the energy often associated with darkness.

Card 3:  Answer

This card describes the answer to your question.

BLACK: Astrological sign of Virgo - energy of this card is one of timing. A card ruling 6th house associations.

INTERPRETATION: It appears the answer about the relationship lies in Mercury ruled Virgo. The two preceding Green cards indicates development.  In Astrology the sign Virgo rules house 6 representing work and well-being.

Astrological signs/planets differ in interpretation.  The multi-level meanings go hand in hand. The time frame for the potential of a relationship will fall during the Virgo sometime during mid summer 2012. The feeling I get from the last card is that “work” delays a quick development, however, Virgos are known to be slow & methodical in their approach to most things.

I would encourage female K. to keep the “Light” burning as depicted in the 2nd card, the Candle. Also, it is important to continue keeping the lines of communication open and flexible in regards to further progress in a future relationship. Mercury rules communication.

TIP: In general, when you read cards it is important not to use a mesh of meanings for the same card or you will get a vague outcome. Could be this….could be that…. is not very comforting to the person seeking your Card Reading expertise. If you don’t know just say so.  Know your cards really well!

Below is the interpretation of House 1:

HOUSE 1: rules your outer personality. BLUE LORD OF BENEVOLENCE.

Sue gives much emotional support to those around her. She can be counted on to provide a good support system to people who are in need. Her outer personality is very helpful and generous. Sue would rather unite people rather than witness a division.

Sue sees the good in all people and this is a characteristic of the blue card LORD OF BENEVOLENCE.

Real estate question for Shustah cards/update June24

A long time special friend of mine has been trying to sell his property. He will find out next week whether the current offer of purchase will be successful. On his behalf I asked the Pages of Shustah cards if the property will sell to the interested seekers.

I did the 3 card layout which is below and drew THE SPYING PAGE, THE WISH CARD and THE CHALICE.

Will the property sell?

The first card represents the basis or premise of the question. This position is similar to Card 3 in the Celtic Cross if you place the 3rd card BENEATH card 1 and 2. This spot should reveal the core essence behind the question. In the SPYING PAGE we can see some conflict of interest with the remaining two cards which are totally positive and promising.

The SPYING PAGE has a negative connotation, however, in this case the message is to wait it out. Of course, my friend doesn’t have a choice he has to wait it out.  One meaning of the SPYING PAGE is observation. Sometime during the process of observation we discover other alternatives or opportunities.

Perhaps due to the frustration of not getting a solid offer in the past on the property my friend is a little defensive about an actual sale. Doubts creep in. When you don’t get attached to the outcome it hurts less if it is not in your favour.

THE WISH CARD: Real good energy with this card. Falling in the middle it suggests that situation is loaded with positivity.  This is the BIG WISH card in the deck but it is also influenced by the other 2 cards in the Reading.  One red card indicating DISAPPOINTMENT and the final card being yellow suggesting GAIN.

The final card will reveal the outcome or result to the question. THE CHALICE reminds me of the Tarot Ace of Cups for obvious reasons. It also reminds me of the 3 cups indicating celebration. The last 2 card in this layout have powerful, positive energy which suggest a favourable answer.

Blessings will come to my friend and his family. Will he sell the property next week?

THE WISH CARD says the question embodies a WIN-WIN answer.

—–>UPDATE: June 25/11. My friend’s PROPERTY SOLD. Spying Page turned out to be a one week delay in the closing date.

Shustah cards reveal an unwanted answer

Green Unicorn. Red Fence. Red Bed

Interpreting the Shustah Trio

The 3 cards in the above image is from an actual Reading. I asked a question on behalf of someone else a few days ago. The question is not important right now but the analysis of these 3 cards leading to the answer is vital.

GREEN UNICORN: describes a situation around the question which depicts a circumstance of ‘out of control’. The Unicorn card represents energy which needs harnessing. Many situations start out one way and go into a totally different direction.

When I saw the 2 Red cards I knew the answer would not be positive. Knowing something was out of control to begin with I became concerned with the remainder of the cards in the layout.

RED FENCE: this card speaks of separation.  I did not look for any other levels of interpretation because I knew some sort of severing experience was around the corner.

RED BED: some of the meanings of this card indicate illness, fatigue and a general feeling of being unwell.

When you blend RED FENCE and RED BED together you know the person will lose their well being via some situation which has created a division. This division began with the GREEN UNICORN’s uncontrolled energy. When there is a division it means that something will be ‘apart’ or ‘separated’.

There was a sad turn of events for a friend of mine’s daughter which involved an uncontrolled separation creating illness. My question on her behalf was whether or not the daughter would have a healthy pregnancy.

:( my friend’s daughter had a miscarriage :(

#13 Black Shustah card as Outcome

I asked the Pages of Shustah cards a very important question using the 3 card layout featured in the accompanying handbook written by Ann Manser / Cecil North.

"self-pattern"

The Outcome card is #13 Black – The Card of Destiny

The question I asked on behalf of someone else did  require a yes or no answer. When interpreting the Card of Destiny in the last spot depicting the result you don’t get a clear yes or no answer.

One of the greatest challenges in Reading cards is using your skills to interpret cards which sometimes do not blend right away. This process requires careful study of the actual card and the neighbouring cards. When asking vital questions of any deck of oracle cards it is always a good idea to pull another deck and ask the same question.  No matter how many years of experience you have in Reading cards there is always another level of interpretation.

My first impression of this card was that a specific answer was not to be known regarding the important question.  I took it to mean whatever will be…will be.

I suppose an aspect of Karma was at work for the person on a soul level which we could do nothing about. It had to unfold according to Divine Plan.

When I studied the #9 Green the Mammoth in position 1 of this 3 card layout I knew the answer to the question was a past life issue.

“Shustah 3 Card Reading”

Male Client F has been experiencing lower back pain for several years. There are no other jobs Client F can do within this organization. He is worried about his age for retraining & his financial position.  I thought this very straight forward question could be best answered by the Pages of Shustah© deck.

QUESTION:  Will Client F get pensioned off as a result of his current medical state?

The Strange Page...The Lord of Authority...The Coins.

CARD 1 – Yellow 11. The Strange Page

Card 1 describes the premise of the question.  The card falling in the first spot will give you a good idea as to the introductory energy brought in surrounding the question. Yellow cards suggest creativity, gain and spiritual awareness.

The Strange Page - This is a card of low self . It also means a  visitation. I think in Client F’s case the entire premise of his question came quite unexpectedly. He was prepared to go to work but his employer told him that they did not have any jobs which could be identified as modified.  Client F was told not to come to work.

Another meaning is unexpected company.  Client F did have an unexpected meeting with his employer as a result of not being given lighter duties.  The Strange Page does not reveal his hands in the image. This means “things” are being hidden from Client F, perhaps an ulterior motive of the company he works for.

CARD 2  - Red 14. The Lord of Authority

Card 2 describes the situation or the problem which can be one in the same.  The card falling in the second spot will reveal opposition if there is any with regards to the question.  This spot will also expand on external influences or the actual reason for asking a question.  Red cards indicate adversity, troublesome energy, seriousness and disappointments.

The Lord of Authority stops you in your tracks. The message of this card is, “not my will, but Thine be done”. The situation is out of Client F’s hand and it has a destiny of it’s own now.  The ball is rolling and there is no turning back. A problem does exist and decisions will be made by people in a much higher position than Client F.

The Lord of Authority in this case points to jumping through hoops.  Client F cannot move closer to a resolution because he has voiced his concerns about his back pain & the hoops involved are company policies.

I think there will be many delays before the final card materializes but Client F is already prepared for this.

CARD 3   – Yellow 10. The Coins

Card 3 describes the result or answer to the question. There are 2 cards in the deck which say a definite yes or no. There are several which strongly suggest a yes or no. The rest provide additional turn of events prior to getting an answer.  The third spot will give you a pretty good idea how the question will unfold.

Here’s the question again.

Will Client F get pensioned off as a result of his current medical state? As I wrote for card 1 Yellow cards suggest creativity, gain and spiritual awareness.  Right away you will know something positive will come out of all of this.

The Coins is a very promising card. It is probably one of the best cards for increase.  Financial increase & emotional gain.  Of course, Client F will experience a piece of mind with the increase of money.  To answer this question I would have to say there is a lump sum of money coming to Client F.  If he gets pensioned off, as they say, it will definitely involve a bundled amount of money.

timing events

April 27, 2010 Reading

Question: Will Client A.  get an offer for his property before the end of the summer?

Card 1:  Green Open Door

An offer will come in for the sale of the property.  There will be a limitation or condition to this offer.  This green card promises positive developments. Start your plans to move by ‘falling in love’ with another house or piece of property no matter if there are no feasible offers at this time for your own property.

Card 2:  Green Angel of Spring

Archangel Raphael forecasts new beginnings. She is telling you to expend your energy into thinking about what you want from your new home.  She will bless you with what you need as long as you start preparing for the relocation. This does not mean just packing your belongings you should start putting in offers for other property.

Card 3:  Blue Divine Horse

This blue card’s influence provides you with profound protection in the success of selling your property.  You will be content and experience great happiness with the way things turn out. You will get what you need. The Divine Horse reinforces a positive answer to the question.

The time frame of July 20 – August 20, 2010 will be significant.

By the looks of this Reading interpretation Client A. should have made some important headway during the timeframe of specified in the Reading.  It is my understanding some major decisions were made close to the date span which involved travel to scout for a new residence.

Client A. did not sell his property during the timeframe mentioned but I think there were other decisions which needed to be anchored prior to the full benefits of the Blue Divine Horse energy.

TIMING EVENTS:

Often the timing of events can be misunderstood. The Universe knows when the right time for manifestation will occur.  When you get a card in the outcome/results spot which gives you a positive influence it is best view the card from a number of angles. If it appears as though the Reading does not come to pass during the timeframe posed in the question don’t doubt your delineation ability.

The process to the result/outcome is just as important.  Maybe other issues needed to be addressed first.

I am fully confident in this Reading analysis & believe the Blue Divine Horse works in collaboration with the Universe’s plan to provide what is in the highest good of Client A.

Pale Horse

PALE HORSE:Red 12

When you draw the Pale Horse take a deep look at what you are asking and try to remove yourself from your question if you can.  Many times we just don’t factor in other possibilities.  The situation could be out of your hands.

Ask yourself if you are making a decision out of fear or some sort of victimization.

If the situation is stressing you out Pale Horse is warning you to relax and find some emotional, physical or intellectual balance.  Many times Pale Horse suggest profound anxiety about a person or a situation.

On an instinctual level when we are functioning from fear we have the Flight or Fight response.

Pale Horse is Flight.

Are you the Pale Horse or are you observing a Pale Horse situation or person?

My dearest father died today

My previous post about 1 month ago regarding the Pages of Shustah© red card Separating Fence materialized.

My dad died today. The holiday I was speaking about 2 posts ago was the Canadian Thanksgiving Day, Oct 11.  Mom and Dad are together now to celebrate this holiday.

I am riveted with a profound sadness.

Both,  mom and dad

passed away within the last 4 months.

Rest in Peace Dad

Holiday weekend coming up?

In my last post I did a Reading which involved this upcoming holiday weekend.  I am curious to see how the Reading will unfold or if there is another level of the last card which should be considered.

I will post the results early next week.  Sometimes the meanings of the Pages of Shustah© cards are very direct as I have found in past Readings.  Other times this deck triggers a little bit of soul-searching.

To all the Canadian readers of my blog.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Red 3. Separating Fence. Shustah Deck.

The post of the Minchiate Tarot will be postponed for a little while because I want to write about one of the Pages of Shustah© cards. I am beginning to really understand Red 3  in more depth and would like to share my findings with you.

THE SEPARATING FENCE

I have asked numerous questions using the Pages of Shustah deck at various times when I needed guidance. These cards are one of the best oracle decks when seeking profound insights. If you don’t want to know the truth then don’t ask these cards because they WILL  answer your questions very directly.

About 1 month ago I asked if my dad will come home from the hospital. At the time the circumstances were very promising for his release. He has been hospitalized intermittently over the past 6 months. When my mom died so tragically late May of this year I was in shock for a long time and I think that I still am.

Over the last 3 weeks my dad’s condition is getting progressively worse and the Separating Fence card held the answer. Coming home is out of the question now.

I asked a second question which I struggled with but asked anyway. You may already know what I was asking and it’s true I did but I had a certain holiday in mind.  I drew this card again.  In experiencing the prior question and now knowing how the situation evolved I feel saddened that this is the answer again.

In order to verify the second question I will have to wait for the holiday to near and only then will I state that the Separating Fence card was correct again.

This card talks about separation but it is also a ‘no’ or ‘not possible’ answer.

I spend many hours with my dad and watching his process. It is one of the most excruciating experiences one can go through without busting at the seams.  Losing a loved one in a sudden death is one thing but watching a loved one slowly leaving is heart shattering.

I hope the readers of my blog will understand that my posts will continue but not so frequently during this time but then again I am not certain. In the past I found great satisfaction writing articles no matter what was going on in my life.

mother & teenage son question for Shustah deck

Pages of Shustah deck

I had a question posed to me by a concerned young mother. Her teenage son has become distant (communication) and is very withdrawn. Her concern is whether or not her relationship with her son will improve over the next 6 months. When I first saw the cards this lady selected I pretty much knew there would be challenges in communication. I studied the cards to find some encouraging guidance even though the Closed Gate appeared to be a definite NO answer.

POSITION 1:  THE WHIP

The premise or foundation of the question is clear.  This card suggests an emotional whipping.  When parents make an effort to try and bridge the gap often their energy is expended for nothing during that phase.  The problem could be her son has too much freedom and too much psychobabble.  Good old fashioned discipline is missing.  There are ways to punish children to teach them right from wrong and you certainly do not have to hurt them physically or emotionally. Many parents take away privileges.  I don’t think method is a solution because young kids have an uncanny way of breezing through such discipline. There are exceptions of course.

Perhaps the young man is unhappy due to the hormonal changes in his body, peer pressure or even acne. He could feel his mother is too strict in that she want to know everything he is doing or where he is going.  At this point I soused the mom out for more information so I could help her further.  We ruled out any mental handicaps and she did admit she was constantly on his case about loud music, late nights and unacceptable clothing.

Don’t forget when you are actually sitting down doing a reading you have already studied the cards in your mind and have preliminary summaries.  Some Readers do take one card at a time and talk about it in depth and don’t merge them all together until the Reading is completed.

POSITION 2: THE SWAMP

The current situation is a problem according to this young mother.  The Swamp warns of an overload on many levels. Now is the time for mom to step back from her young son and give him some room to be an individual.  This card is surrounded by the red suit which points to hardships and challenges.  The task of trying a different approach is necessary to allow for a crossing of this phase.

POSITION 3: CLOSED GATE

In Manser’s accompanying book she states this card means NO.  Unless things change in the NOW the probable future shows hardly any improvement, in fact, a much more complex problem and definitely continued blockage in communication. It is the young mother’s desire to gain some control with her teenage son by opening the lines of communication to pacify her.  I don’t think it is her son’s responsibility to ease the mother’s controlling instincts. Maybe that is a bit harsh to say but letting a teenager find himself requires loosening the apron strings.

SUMMARY

Closed Gate offers an opportunity at the same time.  There is a way through it.  I think this relationship between mother and son will go to another level despite the apparent prediction.  The son could bust through the Closed Gate and rebel. The mother could use her intuition to find a way through the obvious withdrawal.

Relationship Question using Shustah© deck

Question from male querent.

Will my relationship work out ?

Blue 5. Diamond

The foundation of the question.

The basis of this relationship is solid as a diamond. It definitely has potential to shine with regular polishing.

Perhaps the male querent should show his love by buying an actual diamond ring.   :)

Blue 8. Celestial Bees

The situation or challenge of the question.

This relationship will require maintenance. I would suggest the couple incorporate activities involving clubs, social organizations and outings.  It is best to keep busy as a bee and work at it being sweet instead of focusing on the sting of negativity.

Blue 9. Big Wish

The result or probable outcome.

One of the best cards in the deck indicates emotional fulfillment.  This card gives a resonating yes to the question.

Shustah cards are Ditto!

In the last post I asked whether or not a loved one would be released from the hospital within a few days of the reading.  Despite the doom and gloom prognosis of the medical team I just could not believe that the BIG WISH as the result card could be so wrong. I kept my faith and decided not to over react to any further information I received from the hospital.

A miraculous recovery.

Well, the BIG WISH  answer came true.

5 days later the loved one was released.  The JOURNEY card in the centre of the layout clearly pointed to progress and was a positive influence in the overall reading. The person improved each day and the medical team was surprised needless to say.  Progress to Recovery.

Ditto!

Shustah Big Wish promises a YES answer

I asked the Pages of Shustah if a loved one would be released from the hospital within a few days.  I was happy to see the BIG WISH as the result card.

Black 4. Green 8. Blue 9.

Black 4

Cancer suggest the question is about home and family.

Green 8

The Journey describes the current situation as moving into progress.

Blue 9

Big Wish strongly indicates a favourable outcome with  YES answer to the question.
