I had an interesting link sent to me today by my son. It had an article about The Gomboc – the world’s first self righting object.  I found the information very amusing and interesting. An object that always comes back to it’s standing position.

This is of particular interest to me partly due to my Hungarian – Slovenian heritage and it’s a popular surname. Also, it is a type of dessert. A round ball of dough with a plum center fried in bread crumbs. Yummy it’s good.

I think that The Gomboc will be a new buzz word to describe a situation or person. For example: she has gone through many hardships in her life but always seems to Gomboc back. Or, he’s the perfect man for the job – he’s Gomboc all the way.
